I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with Camping World’s service department deserves to be documented.I purchased my Starcraft trailer from Camping World in August 2025. In mid‑May 2026, my Invision refrigerator failed, still under warranty. I immediately informed Camping World that I am an active‑duty service member with a PCS move in less than 30 days, and that timing mattered.
Camping World diagnosed the fridge and confirmed it needed replacement. They submitted paperwork to Starcraft, then told me there was nothing they could do to expedite the process and that I, the customer, needed to call the manufacturer myself.
When I called Starcraft, they told me they were waiting on additional information from Camping World, information Camping World never sent. Getting Camping World to answer the phone was nearly impossible. I called dozens of times with no response. I eventually had to physically drive to the dealership and only made progress after asking to speak directly with the General Manager.Starcraft ultimately expedited the refrigerator, but only because I forced Camping World to communicate with them. The fridge was installed on the last possible day before my PCS, and Camping World demanded a $1,500 deposit because they “hadn’t had time” to file the warranty paperwork.
For over a month afterward, I repeatedly called Camping World asking why reimbursement was taking so long. The service manager again told me that I needed to call Starcraft to move things along.
When I called Starcraft, I learned the truth: Camping World did not follow the warranty process correctly. The refrigerator never needed full replacement, only a small component. The entire ordeal, including the rush, delays, and stress, was unnecessary. Starcraft also stated they were unsure why Camping World charged me $1,500 at all.
Starcraft contacted Camping World, and the service manager told them that I rushed them and that I might not get reimbursed. Both statements were blatant lies.
Only after contacting the GM directly, and going back and forth for several days, did Camping World finally issue my reimbursement check. This was 45+ days after the initial failure.
This was the worst customer service experience I’ve had with any company. Camping World’s service department was unresponsive, misleading, and unwilling to take responsibility for their own mistakes. I will not be returning, and I strongly recommend others avoid relying on Camping World for warranty service.
We stopped by camping world on July 20th to browse new campers. Looking around and just trying to decide what our options were at various price levels. We were greeted at the entrance by Donna Glenn, who after talking about our interests and must haves showed us a couple of campers. After getting a comparable appraisal offer for our existing camper we were getting asked to put money down on a ~$69k camper. After not putting down money on the camper at that price they were immediately adjusting numbers and kept trying us to put a deposit down.
We held our ground and left. The next day we went up I-25 to look at travel trailers at the various dealers around the Longmont area. We found the exact same camper model, same colors, features, etc for starting $30 k less. We ended up purchasing there and all was well. No hate or loss towards Camping World. I sent a casual message to Donna to let her know that we went another direction due to price to keep her from wasting time selling to us.
Then at 5:57 am I got a childish response to my text message saying 'So, I found the perfect unit for you, sent you all the info about why it was perfect for you, respected your request for time to consider the options and you didn't even give me a chance to earn your business? Wow.'
I've never received such a childish response from a sales person in my life. When I told the sales people at the other dealers we visited they all responded nicely and said thank you. I'm surprised how Donna Glenn is in sales with the way she turns on customers and treats them when it does not go her way. Stay away from her and Camping World in Wheat Ridge, CO. I guess a $30 k price difference isn't a big deal to some people anymore.
I also sent a reply e-mail about the incident to the General Manager, Patrick after he sent a thank you about visiting the dealership. Never got a response.

We had a great experience purchasing our camper here. Nate and Jeremy were very helpful and friendly throughout the financing process. We came in to do paperwork and the system was down, and our truck was also being hooked up to a new hitch. So Nate offered us his own truck to let us go get food while we waited! Jeremy presented numbers to us with no fluff and was kind. Matt was thorough and helpful going through our camper with us as first time camper buyers. Thank you Camping World for the pleasant experience!

In may we purchased our preowned camper. Every time we’ve reached out no one has contacted us back. How convenient my temp tags are expired and they “aren’t done processing the paperwork” so I can get my official plates on the camper I purchased, I also paid for the temp extension because this dealership is very untimely and didn’t offer to cover the price of the extension until after it was already paid for so I can remain legally using it. Unfortunately this isn’t the only issue I’ve had that i’ve contacted them repeatedly about a number of things since purchasing and have been ignored. These are bad unprofessional business practices, maybe I’ll finally be able to get through to someone’s supervisor on Monday.

BEWARE of finance and management, especially their "dealer" GoodSam warranty. Another Bad Shady CampingWorld scamming people on their in-house warranty policy.
I will say our sale person and the shop foreman 5 stars, but finance and managers, give industry a bad rep. Bought used, cleaning department that prepped the inside also horrible, we cleaned out Rat nests that were blantly visible under kitched sink and other cabinets, sticks, feathers, rat feces, dead bird, and blood off floors and cabinets throughout the rv for days, used a box of wet mops on floors, like they had never been cleaned.
WORST part is this 60 Day money-back full refundable "guarantee" that they didn't stand by. We purchased because it was used and with the 60 days we figured anything that was going to happen would show up. After 45 days we realized there was nothing major and decided to have the warranty refunded. Mind you this is a $5500 warranty. Here begins the cat and mouse game. We were specifically told we had to deal with them directly on refund and not GoodSam because it would be the store refunding to our lender. Obviously they do this and begin the stall tactics. Called and was told they would email the necessary form, never came, called 4 days in a row, each day no email, no return calls either, called on the following Saturday morning early when opening hoping to talk to someone, waited and waited called 3 times that morning, still no return call. So we decided to drive there in-person. Spoke with a manager because finance was "busy" filled out and signed the necessary paperwork, was told it may take 2-3 weeks, this was within the 60 day period. Continued to watch account for full credit, never came, kept calling to check, no return calls again. Not to mention we had several issues with them paying fees and taxes for title, took months. Went back down there a month later and managers were "gone for the day" left our name and number, again they NEVER return a call, unless your ready to give them money they will NEVER call you back. Will be the last time I ever deal with a CampingWorld and I hope this reaches plenty of potential buyers to discourage from this location.
