  I went in for rear brakes. They said I also needed to replace both front lower control arms, which are notoriously prone to torn compliance bushings, Then I would also need an alignment. I agreed to have them do it because I was there and it was convenient. Afterwards I ran my invoice through AI, which said: "When comparing this invoice to a franchise Subaru dealership, the overall final cost is roughly similar, but how the charges are allocated is fundamentally different. At a dealership, you generally pay a premium for factory parts and specialized labor. In this case, Brakes Plus charged dealership prices while using budget aftermarket components. Essentially, Brakes Plus charged you a luxury dealer price for standard aftermarket suspension hardware". I should have run the quote through AI before approving it. Cost was the same, however next time I'll go to the dealer where I get the OEM parts. I'd recommend that any customers consider these factors.

  I've spent roughly $5,000+ with this shop over the last several months and have returned repeatedly because I believed I had found a business I could trust. Unfortunately, today's experience changed that. My issue wasn't a repair, a wait time, or the fact that the employee helping me was on his last day of training. Whether it was his first day or his last day of training doesn't matter. What I witnessed was one employee trying to manage customers (myself and another gal) , phones, paperwork, and front desk responsibilities all at once while several other employees stood nearby chatting. I watched him run from the front desk, to outside, to the shop, doing everything he could to keep things moving while visibly overwhelmed. The biggest factor in where I choose to spend my money isn't just how a business treats its customers, it's how it treats its employees. Watching an employee struggle while people around him appeared fully capable of helping but chose not to left a much bigger impression on me than any repair bill ever could. Maybe there was something happening behind the scenes that I wasn't aware of. Maybe there was a reason no one stepped in. But from a customer's perspective, what I saw was an employee being left to sink while everyone else stood around talking. I genuinely appreciate the work the technicians have done on my vehicle, but this experience was enough for me to decide I'll be taking my business elsewhere moving forward. To the employee I believe was named Matt: you handled yourself professionally while visibly overwhelmed and deserved more support than what I witnessed this morning.

  I had an excellent experience at Brakes Plus in Westminster, Colorado (Meadow Pointe location). From the moment I arrived, the service was professional, friendly, and efficient. Matt was an outstanding customer service representative who made the entire process easy and welcoming. Joe, my mechanic, did a great job and completed the work in a timely manner. I appreciated the honesty, professionalism, and attention to detail from the entire team. The service did not take long, and my visit was pleasant from start to finish. Thank you, Matt and Joe, for providing such great customer service. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality automotive service and a team that truly cares about their customers. PS the best ever!   Made a break/rotator inspection a day prior. Got there the next day @ 11a.m and waited in the lobby til 5:30 p.m just to be told they they never actually got to my car and wanted me to make another appointment...i sure did not, considering that they kept telling me my car was "next one in line" for the longest. That was the only reason that kept me there waiting like a fool. They obviously prioritize some customers over others, because what do you mean these other people are getting their cars serviced even though i got there hours prior to them? I'd like to know I don't see myself coming back here even if it's for a free inspection since they seem to purposefully disregard those appointment in favor of others. Thank you for a wasted afternoon!

  I have a Jeep so finding a good auto shop is high priority and since coming to Brakes Plus back in 2024, I honestly haven’t trusted my vehicle anywhere else! As most Jeep owners know, maintenance and repairs can get expensive fast, and I’ve needed quite a bit of work done over time. Every experience here has been incredible. Em has always been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, honest, and someone I truly trust with my vehicle. He takes the time to explain what’s going on, what caused the issue, and what to expect moving forward. That level of transparency is hard to find. It’s also really admirable seeing the rapport within the shop and the way he treats his staff. He truly has been wonderful. The service has consistently been reliable, professional, and cost-effective, especially in today’s economy. I’ve never left feeling confused or taken advantage of, and every repair has been handled with care and integrity. I’m beyond grateful. Overall, nothing but amazing experiences every single time. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for trustworthy and quality auto service!
