Manager German makes this location PHENOMENAL. I had visited once a long time ago and felt unimpressed. After my recent service with German I will continue to visit this location to see him.

Usually I have a great experience here. This last time, I was told that my battery needed replaced, I declined. A week later, my car keeps losing power, when I look all the clips that hold the plastic in place are GONE and the battery was NEVER secured back in place, so bouncing around. This last experience was horrible and I will never go back.

I paid over $500 for a tune up. They knew my car had overheated the night before so I did the recommended service. I ended up 58 miles from home on the side of I-25 with steam blasting out from under my hood. Armondo/German missed the true real problem. I’m definitely not going back.

I had my oil change here on Sunday. I was going to give them 4 out 5. And decide on two. First they left oil hand prints on my driver door, front left front fender, hood, right fender. At least wipe them off. During checkout the tech proceed to tell they checked my brake pads and I should use caution because they are worn down and need to be changed. I don’t believe they really checked them or even know what they are talking about. I had my brakes done the day before. Not sure if I’ll ever go back to this company for any service.

Do not take your car here! Took my Subaru for an oil change and before I even left the shopping center, my low wiper fluid light came on (indicating no top off). Should have been my first clue. About a week later, the check engine light came on. I scheduled time to take it to a local shop that specializes in Subarus, and they informed me that the there was oil covering the O2 sensors (as well as on the battery and engine bay) and that I was short about a quart of oil. The Subaru shop also added an entire container of wiper fluid, as Grease Monkey did not refill it. Went back Grease Monkey to ask for a refund for the oil change and to cover the cost of the repair for the O2 sensors (quote from the Subaru place was $305 for a new sensor plus labor). The man at Grease Monkey said sensors cost $50-80. I asked how much a genuine Subaru part would cost and he said $50-80 (btw during the oil change he repeatedly told me he’s an expert in Subarus). I told him we looked up the price and the rear sensor is approx 150 (later realize the front one actually costs $336 - near what was quoted!), he said “like I said O2 sensors cost between $80-100”, I told him you just said 50-80 and this one is 150. He then said “like I said, they can cost between $80 to 100 to $150” I again reminded him he just said $50-80 and it seems like he was being dishonest to make the Subaru shop sound unreasonable. I showed him pictures of the oil in the engine bay (including on the battery) and he said - that oil has been there a LONG time. Then I told him the battery is only two months old so he then said - it would take “several weeks” to look like that. He repeatedly changed his explanations based on facts I was providing. Do not trust this place. They cant even remember to top off wiper fluid for an oil change but treated me as though myself (and a shop that specializes in Subarus) were making up the fact that they clearly spilled a quarts worth of oil that then impacted the O2 sensors. Not only did they not meet the specifications of oil requirements (and fluid top off) but they damaged the car in the process.
