  I had a great experience! Small airport. The National staff were very pleasant, and even brought my car seats to the car. Vehicle was clean and in excellent shape. Very competitive rate.

  I want to recognize Philip, the Station Manager at National Car Rental at the Montrose Regional Airport, for providing outstanding customer service. We had reserved two minivans because we were traveling with small children, two car seats, golf clubs, and a lot of luggage. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the minivans we had reserved were not available. After a long day of travel, it was stressful, and I was visibly concerned about how we were going to fit everything safely. Philip handled the situation with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. He remained calm, respectful, and positive throughout the entire process. Rather than simply apologizing, he worked with us to find the best solution and allowed us to choose a larger SUV that accommodated both car seats, our golf clubs, and all of our luggage. His composure, problem-solving skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction completely turned our experience around. Philip is a true class act and represents National Car Rental exceptionally well. Employees like him are the reason customers return. National should be proud to have someone of his caliber leading their team in Montrose.

  The front desk and the car were excellent. However finding the car in the rental car lot was was cumbersome. Signage for both picking up and returning it was poor, making the experience frustrating.
