- BTBrian TuerffsOct 6, 20261.0I went to Collins knowing historically they are more expensive, but they have done good work in the past, so I don't mind paying extra for quality work. This time, however, after paying almost 500 just to have mufflers installed on my car (not including the price of the Borla's) the dual exhaust tips were way off (crooked) and looked terrible. I took the car back to have the exhaust tips straightened and Ben asked me what caused them to be crooked when he knew they were welded on that way by his technician just a few weeks before. Then Ben proceeded to give me an invoice for almost 100.00 for fixing something that they did not do correctly to begin with. I can't imagine charging the customer to fix something that the business failed to do correctly. I am NOT impressed with the quality of work, ethics of the employees and also feel they are way overpriced for the lack of quality. They used to do good work, however, not anymore. I don't know where I will be going for exhaust work, however, I will NOT be going back here. What a terrible experience.
