  I cannot say enough good things about the Parts Department staff. Alicia did a great job delivering my new trailer, explaining every feature, and answering a litany of questions. Scott was also friendly. Dax went above and beyond to help me get prepared to tow my new trailer. He was kind, funny, very personable, progressional, and exceptionally knowledgeable. I definitely know who to call and where to go from now on!

  Zero stars. On road from Michigan with a brake problem; called Saturday before they closed; left message, no return call. Drove to this location 3.5 hours away. Made another call at 9 when they opened, again service did not answer; left another message. Arrived at 10:40 with no customers in service; noticed our name on desk. Tech had not done any research. We had to make calls to Brinkley; we knew more about our issue. This location did not have the part so they sent us to camping world. So we're off to the competitor!

  If you've ever been to a used car lot with new cars on the other side, that's exactly what this is just on a bigger scale. It's all junk. If you really do your homework, you'll realize most mobile homes are junk, because they're built. So flimsy, in a way that they have to be lightweight and transportable. The energy here is just like a used car lot. They're all entitled, starting with all the management s*** flows downhill. I didn't like any of their energy. They all seem like a bunch of flaky. Entitled. Politicians or something of that nature and then it seems like other parts of the organization act the same way. In your face, some of them will be nice. But other than that, the energy here is so stagnant, my associates, and I will not do business with these guys in any way, shape or form and we recommend the same for everyone else move on. There's other places to go, not to mention, this is just here, I would say, shop outside of Colorado. And if possible outside of the United States and get a better deal probably online, you can most likely pre-order. What you want and get your value like that. Earth Romer placed down the street. They're a little too pricey for my taste. But I know they build Em from the ground up at that exact location. Don't waste your time here. Definitely don't waste your energies or money.☯️

  I cannot recommend General RV in Longmont based on my experience. Although the trade-in and purchasing of a new RV went smoothly, I feel we were misled regarding some specific details we asked about our new RV. Before purchasing our Keystone Cougar, we specifically asked about the difference between the RV we were purchasing and the Western Edition, which they did not have in stock. We were told the only difference was the location where the RV was built. We later learned that this was incorrect- Western Edition models are equipped with tankless water heaters intended to work at higher elevations, while our non-Western Edition Cougar was factory-equipped with a Suburban ST-42 tankless water heater. For the remainder of our 2025 camping season our brand-new Cougar could not provide hot water. The Suburban ST-42 would trip an alarm that indicated there was an air and gas flow problem. We brought the RV back to General RV for warranty service at the end of the 2025 camping season and clearly explained that the failure occurred at all of the Colorado campgrounds we stayed at- all which were above 6,500ft. I do not feel General RV took my concern seriously and after I insisted that this needed to be resolved they finally told me they adjusted a flow valve in the water heater. However, at the start of the 2026 camping season the water heater continued to trip the same alarm and not produce hot water. I contacted Suburban directly (excellent customer service). After consulting its engineering team, Suburban confirmed that the ST-42 is tested and approved only up to 4,500 feet and that the ST-42 does not have a high-altitude adjustment or modification for higher elevations. So, what exactly did the General RV techs modify on my water heater? I have doubts that any adjustments were made based on what Suburban told me. For an RV sold in Colorado and used exclusively in Colorado, a water heater that does not operate at higher elevations is a serious limitation. We camp at Colorado mountain campgrounds ranging from approximately 6,400 to 9,400 feet. At these elevations, the original ST-42 repeatedly shut down with an E8 flame-loss/ignition error and stopped producing hot water. I believe General RV’s customer service could be better. I ultimately purchased and installed a unit suitable for higher-elevation use (Fogatti), so that we could have hot water in our RV. My primary concerns are that General RV gave us inaccurate information about the differences between the standard and Western Edition models and that its service department did not resolve or adequately verify the resolution of a problem that made an essential system unusable during normal Colorado camping.
