  Finally an honest place with fantastic people! We've had our Subaru's in and out of so many places over the years and are so grateful to have found Subismith. We had multiple issues that could have lead to someone else charging us 1000s of dollars if they chose to. Subismith found our issues, corrected what was needed to get us back on the road and advised us of taking to a dealer for some recall issues that were outstanding. That total at the dealership was $0 but another shop without the integrity could have easily taken us for 5k+ in repairs. Gained a customer for life on our end and hope this helps anyone else make the choice to take your vehicle here!

  Ace and the team run a fantastic operation at Subiesmith. Subiesmith is honest, fairly priced, transparent, and provide high quality, dependable service. Inspections are highly detailed (with photos) and mechanics clearly take care to both diagnose and make repairs. Everyone is friendly, respectful, and takes time to answer your questions in an understandable way without talking down to you. They clearly communicate your options and the pros/cons of potential repairs, and ensure you know about the details of the service/repairs. Subiesmith has both taken care of regular maintenance and made major repairs to my elderly subie (engine re-seal, transmission) which was high quality, dependable, great work, and allowed me to avoid having to get a new car. They don’t pressure you to make major repairs and ensure informed consent. They know everything about Subarus, you couldn’t take your car to a better subie shop. Highly highly recommended.

  Subiesmith is maybe the most honest auto repair shop I have ever been to! Whenever i have to go to the dealership, they gives me a packet of all the things that are “wrong” with my car. I take that packet into subiesmith and they tell me which issues need immediate attention, which ones can wait and which ones aren’t really a problem. They replaced my brake pads last year. The next time I brought my car in I told them I noticed some squeaking. They found the problem and fixed it for free! Just an all around honest place that will not take advantage of you.

  Very unhappy with the service I received at subie smith. I took my car in to get the AC fixed - I was told my coolant level was low, and they wanted to do testing on the engine. I was aware of the low coolant level because I had gotten the head gasket fixed earlier in the year. They proceeded to do the test "for free". After taking my car in, I have had the engine light & overheating light come on, and my car seems to be performing badly - in only a few days after visiting subie smith. I am unsure if there is a correlation at all, or if it's merely coincidence. However, because they do a general inspection on the vehicle and they had nothing to say about any problems that could contribute to this, it's definitely fishy. After calling them, no solutions or insight offered. Pretty disappointing.
