- PWPatrick WoodrowAug 19, 20265.0I have been through this maverik possibly 5-6 times on the way to steamboat. I have never felt obliged to leave a review until I met Antonio and his female coworker who was working the register at the time. Antonio picked up the phone and threw some new dogs on the grill for us and when we came through to secure our hot dogs, he was incredibly helpful in getting all of our dogs together. Antonio is a true professional and went above and beyond anything expected of his job title.

Empty cars at other pumps meant somebody didn't pull into a parking spot after fueling. All probably normal at this small Maverick location. Biggest problem: I picked up the Pepsi meal deal (hotdog, lays classic chips, bottle of Pepsi) advertised for $5. Clerk tried charging me over DOUBLE that deal price by scanning each item individually. I called him on it but he couldn't seem to do the math (5+2.79=7.79) and just gave me a random discount to subtotal of ~$8.88 plus tax. People were piling up behind me so I just took the overcharge and left. I'll stick with the Mercantile gas station down the street for +1¢/gal gas next time.
