  I had a back passenger window smashed and needed a replacement . All done through insurance and the Safelite staff were exceptional. I highly recommend this business.

  Great experience. Technician was fantastic. Very professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. Had my window replaced in my driveway as I had a lot of stuff to do. Everything went off without a hitch.!

  I rarely leave one-star reviews because I try to be patient and give businesses the opportunity to make things right. Unfortunately, my experience with Satellite has been one problem after another. I originally spoke with the technician, but after I finished work I tried calling the store back. The technician I spoke with was dismissive of my concerns and seemed more interested in making excuses than addressing the issues I raised. I then spent nearly five minutes navigating their call tree and was unable to connect to the store. They installed the wrong size windshield wipers—one 22” and one 16”. I specifically requested Bosch wipers, yet they installed an off-brand set and then insisted they were Bosch, despite the brand name being clearly printed on the wipers themselves. The workmanship on the windshield installation was even more subpar. The windshield appears to be installed crooked and is visibly not aligned correctly. The bottom gutter trim/cowling was not reinstalled properly, and one of the retaining clips is now missing and appears to have been broken off during the installation. There are scratches around the windshield that look like the old glass was carelessly pried out without regard for the paint or finish. To make matters worse, the technicians placed the metal wiper arms directly on the roof of my vehicle without any protection, scratching the paint. They also manually folded my motorized side mirrors instead of using the vehicle controls, which demonstrates a surprising lack of care for a customer’s property. I have photographs and videos from my workplace documenting the damage, along with numerous other scratches that appeared after the installation. There are also drips running down the side of my car and, after everything else I’ve found, I can’t help but wonder whether it’s adhesive residue, cleaner, or something else that was left behind. Workmanship like this undermines my confidence that the installation was performed correctly. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with both the quality of work and the customer service. This level of carelessness is unacceptable, especially for something as straightforward as a windshield installation. I was promised that a manager would call me today to discuss these issues, but no one ever reached out. The lack of follow-through only reinforces my concerns about how this company treats its customers. I will continue trying to speak with management and ask for a refund, but based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this business.

  I would give them no stars if I could. 3 years ago, they sent a completely inexperienced technician to replace the windshield on my 2013 Denali. He botched the job. Left glue everywhere, never transferred the interior stickers and it leaked. Just yesterday, I scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. I had to move appointments around so I could leave work. After the technician was an hour late, I was then told he wasn’t even gonna show and had to cancel because he was “too busy.” It clear that all of Safelite’s commercials talking about professionalism and reliability are a lie. Don’t buy into the smoke and mirrors. Take you car to Advance Auto Glass instead.
