  I usually go to Valvoline for my oil changes, but this last time they did my change, I left and my car died. Issues driving the works. Doug, the area manager, helped me out, got it back in the shop, and did another change, and I was back on the road. He really did go out of his way to try and see what the issue was. Had it checked to make sure no issues came from this, and it was decided the oil filter was incorrectly installed the first time in one way or another, based on the problems it was having and the fact that after he had done the second change, it resolved.

  Amazing service. I came in with an overfill issue that could’ve caused real damage. They replaced the plug, drained everything properly, checked the system, and had me safely back on the road in no time. Honest, fast, and genuinely helpful

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with Valvoline was extremely disappointing. My son, who is a college student, brought his vehicle in for a routine oil change. Within 24 hours of the service, the vehicle began smoking heavily and had to be towed to another repair facility. Since then, two separate mechanics have independently diagnosed the issue as an engine oil overfill and concluded that the overfill caused the damage and resulting mechanical problems. What has been most frustrating is not only the issue itself, but the response afterward. When concerns were raised, the initial reaction was to deny that an overfill could have occurred because the equipment is calibrated and video footage was reviewed. While procedures and equipment are important, they do not eliminate the possibility of human error. At no point did it feel like there was a genuine effort to consider the findings provided by two independent mechanics. I also requested follow-up documentation from the regional manager, Doug, including the report and information referenced during our conversations. I was told this information would be provided, but more than two weeks later I have received nothing despite multiple attempts to follow up. In fact, it took considerable effort just to get connected with the appropriate people in the first place. As a result, we have filed a claim in small claims court and will also be submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how a company responds when credible evidence is presented. In this case, two independent mechanics reached the same conclusion, yet we experienced denial, poor communication, and a lack of accountability throughout the process. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this location. What is most disappointing is that throughout this process, it felt as though our concerns were dismissed rather than seriously investigated. My son trusted that a routine oil change would be handled correctly, and when two independent mechanics reached the same conclusion regarding the overfill, we expected a much more thorough and accountable response. Instead, weeks have passed without the promised documentation or meaningful follow-up. As a customer, it leaves the impression that the company was hoping time would pass and the issue would simply go away rather than working toward a fair resolution. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience, and it is the primary reason I cannot recommend this location.

  A 2-star rating, sadly! I thought I finally found a better-than-good oil change place but unfortunately a short-lived one. The past two times I’ve gone, they’ve been “out of coolant”. This last time they said it was because of the customer appreciation day they just had. FOR WHICH I never even got an invitation or notice that they were having one. I’ll digress on the fact they lost my chrome tire stem cap months ago and didn’t bother to let me know. SO…I’ve had to replace them AND now start buying my own coolant on top of the $100+ oil change. I’d think twice before going! And bring your coolant!! P.S. no reason given for the first time they supposedly were out of coolant.
