- TBTracy Baron4 days ago5.05/5 Stars I cannot say enough wonderful things about Scotty’s Muffler Shop! I lost the exhaust pipe on my travel van while 2,000 miles away in Michigan. I tried multiple dealerships and shops across the country, but nobody had the ability or the time to fix it—most quoted me a wait of several months. When I got back to Grand Junction, I brought it to Scotty’s. They didn't just fix it; they custom-made a brand-new exhaust pipe and had it ready within a few hours that very week! This was a massive relief because, without that pipe, I couldn't run my generator—meaning I had been stuck traveling through triple-digit heat with no AC to the back section of my van. A special shoutout to Ben Manchee. He was beyond helpful, incredibly empathetic, and a fabulous problem solver. His efficiency and customer service were truly exceptional. I walked out of there incredibly happy to finally use my van again, deeply grateful for the fast turnaround, and very pleased with the fair pricing. Support this amazing local shop—they earned every bit of my gratitude - and this 5-star review!

- LFLyman FogelOct 4, 20265.0They fixed my 2004 Mazda 3 (bought new, 258K miles, love it). Exhaust manifold cracked. They welded it in place, fixed small oil leak in process, $500 bill !!! (Mazda dealer estimate $1800). The admin process was clear, amicable and well defined (I worked with “Ben”). This was the first time I used them for service (live north of Silt) and I see why they expanded from “Scotty’s Muffler” to Scotty’s everything else.

Though I have a couple of good local Denver go to's, now, if I can delay service until I can get to GJ Scotty's when visiting out that way, I do! Recently, I received an email from the Denver-area Subaru dealer where I bought my 2010 Outback wagon in 2024 offering a complimentary multi-points inspection. I also received a text from GJ Scotty's for a complimentary brake inspection. I was suspecting a front end problem & was planning a trip to GJ anyway & preferred GJ Scotty's find & fix anything before my dealer. And Scotty's did! However skillful my Denver-area service options, Scotty's GJ is more pragmatic & affordable along with great work. Yesterday, my OB handsomely passed my Ru dealership's inspection. Thanks Scotty's GJ!
