However, someone from Penske (possibly a corporate office) called me and was talking bad things about Budget amd convinced me to go with Penske. That was a mistake. I had booked about two to three weeks ago, so that everything would be in order when I was ready to move. On the day of my pickup, I was told that I could not rent a truck from Penske amd they could not give me a reason why. Found out later Penske still charged me $100, even though they denied me the use of the truck. Doesn't seem like that should even be legal. Lucky for me, Budget had a truck ready for me. Since I had originally booked with them. I just picked up my Budget truck with no issues, and they were a lot nicer than the people at Penske. At least now I know not to waste my time with Penske, and I will tell my friends and family the same. Thank you for being there for me, Budget! I would steer far clear of Penske, if it was me. They might deny you a truck for no reason and still take your money. Bunch of crooks, in my opinion.
