  Tried calling about warranty for an item I bought. The lady answering the phone kept transferring me instead of helping me. I waited on hold for 10 min. I called back to explain that to her she transferred me again to no one. And now she isn’t even answering my calls. Horrible customer service

  Everyone at the Golden location was. Rey friendly and helpful. They answered every question completely. I would definitely do business with them again.

  Terrible experience with this Camping World. We worked out a deal with our salesman to trade our current camper for a new camper. After pulling credit for the new camper, they told us the trade was not possible because the salesman did not understand a detail of the deal. We were of course very unhappy this came to light after the credit pull and asked the manager to fix the situation; instead, the finance manager became aggressive and raised his voice at us. The next day we tried to work with our salesman to work through the details of the deal to get the camper we wanted and he informed us that corporate determined they did not want the trade-in. So, apparentely the prior day, the dealer was prepared to make a trade that corporate wouldn't have approved. The salesman was negotiating details of the trade without proper knowledge of what was possible and not possible. And the whole thing fell apart after a wasted credit pull that impacts our credit and we were treated terribly by the finance manager who blamed the salesman for the mistake rather than taking responsibility for a corporate mistake and making it right with us. DO NOT BUY from them. The absolute worst experience I have ever had.

  As a business owner who has designed sales processes and taught sales teams for the last 20 years, I have to tell you that my experience with the RV we came to see yesterday was undoubtedly one of the worst sales demos I have seen. The RV was filthy, floors, stove, everything. We could not run any of the systems as it had a low gas level, so the generator would not run. I offered to drive it to a gas station and pay to put gas in it, I was told a porter would have to do that and there were none available. The propane tank had been removed from the vehicle for an RV show six months ago and never reinstalled. I asked about simple cosmetic repairs and was told I would have to buy a prep package and camping world does no cosmetic repairs as a part of that. To make it even more humorous, Dave had no idea how much any of that would cost. Is was clear as day that zero effort had been put into making the RV presentable, nor to fix even simple things that would take someone 5 minutes. Ex. The white paint was cracking and peeling off on the cover for the heater exhaust, understandable, it's a 20 minute job to sand it down and apply some high heat paint. The mattress in the RV was missing, so we couldn't even see how the bed works when folded up or down. Regardless of whether or not a unit is used or new, 10k or 250k, this is most basic stuff imaginable. On top of that, every question I asked, I received a prompt "no, we don't do that" or no, you would have to pay our service department $200/hr for repair work. I liked the RV, but this experience and the general state of things at your location made it impossible to consider any kind of deal. Why would anyone want to work with a company who says no to every question, is completely unprepared to demonstrate even basic system, is unable to put fuel in a vehicle, replace a mattress, or wipe down a stove. I have never seen anything so unprofessional. I looked at a couple of other used units to see if this was an anomaly, it is not, they were all in terrible condition, dirty, the one located immediately behind the Chatau has clean water infiltration, I pointed this out to Dave, he said it looks like the maintenance guys resealed the whole window, which I hope is not the case as it looked like a 5 year old got a hold of the caulking gun and went to town. That RV I came to see is one year old, was clearly not treated well by its previous owners, then even worse during the 6 months it has been at camping world with less than zero effort put into trying to make it even barely presentable. The salesman was good at driving the golf cart though, so if that's his job, he's doing well.
