  For multiple weeks, Gerber promised my vehicle would be done. There was such a lack of communication about what the actual refinishing phase consists of, leaving me with no vehicle to move into a new apartment. Absolutely disgusted with the promises made but not fulfilled. I will not be taking my vehicle back to Gerber. UPDATE: I am on WEEK 12 without my vehicle and still waiting for a mirror cap when the mirror was clearly broken in July when I took it in. I am truly blown away at the lack of quality in their service. If you want to be without your car for months on end, Gerber is the place for you!

  Where to start.... We went to Gerber to get our car fixed after being side swiped because State Farm recommended them. They were also able to get us in fairly quick which is the reason they get one star. We got plenty of text updates that were somewhat vague about the process, but not a huge problem. The problem started when we picked up the car and no one came out to show us the work that was done as has been done in the past. If they had we would have noticed that neither of the rims that were damaged had been replaced on the front. We noticed when we got home, called and were told that the rims were still sitting there waiting to be installed, which they couldn't do in the 3 weeks they had the car, but they had found time to charge us for the rims and installation. We also noticed how bad our alignment still was and when I called, the manager said to take it to Alpine tire and he would pay for the alignment....except when we got there Alpine wouldn't do it because the tie rod which was damaged in the accident and should have been replaced....wasn't. Other than the first time I called and talked to John the manager about our issues, he was never again available and never followed up on anything. Alpine gave us a copy of the bill they were giving Gerber for the work they did to replace the tie rod and alignment. Under $500, but State Farm showed us that Gerber adjusted their bill to show $2200. Never going back. Never advising anyone, ever to go there either.

  I only made it in as they were closing, but Phil stayed after, and began processing my claim. Their work was speedy and of great quality. Phil was great to work with and I'd definitely recommend Gerber.
