  First visit here was great, they did my oil change and found a cheap solution to my engine light (corrosion cleanup on my battery) Second visit here was different - the front office staff was courteous and helpful however I was told they would call before doing anything that cost money. That did not happen, but I was ok because I knew they were likely going to run diagnostics. Then when I got the results from the diagnostics ($129) they told me I needed $1,100 in repairs to my EVAP/emissions system. I wanted to price this out so I took it to a subaru specialty shop for a second opinion and they let me know that I needed no repairs at all, and actually just needed a new gas cap. A new gas cap fixed the problem for $15. Had I trusted this shop I would be out a significant amount of money for no reason. Glad I got a second opinion.

  On 08/25/2026 I had taken my vehicle to a separate garage to get a diagnosis, I had revived a quote that was not in the budget. My wife had stated we should go to brakes plus just to see if there was any better prices. We arrive and are met by Adam, Whom at the time we did not know was the store manager. I show him the quote i received and was told he can do better. And that he did, I wont name numbers out of respect to both parties but I was WELL within the budget I had allocated to my car. After speaking with Adam I went to retrieve my car from the other garage thanked them and departed. I arrive at brakes plus around 4pm and drop my vehicle off to be diagnosed. I call the next morning and my car does need the work stated and they promise end of day to be complete. I arrive at 520 and my car is fixed. Adam was a complete life saver, without even needing to he changed my oil, fixed my brake light, and valve cover gasket at no extra cost. Safe to say I will be returning to brakes plus for my future car needs

  Not great service. I had an appointment at 10am for an oil change and by 2pm no communication on it. I ended up calling to see what was going on and they told me “we haven’t started on it yet we have been slammed.” I do understand them being busy but they had open appointments all day and appointments shouldn’t come after walks ins. There is no reason it should take that long for an oil change. Once I got there almost 2 hours after I called to get my car back since it was still not done, they told me they were “about to bring it back.” I wouldn’t recommend anyone come here for an oil change or basic services.

  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Brakes Plus and the lack of accountability afterward. I originally returned because I was having brake issues after Brakes Plus had previously worked on my brakes. My rotors had gone bad again surprisingly quickly, and no one could give me a clear explanation as to why. One employee even told me, “Don’t quote me on this,” and suggested that if I looked up my specific vehicle, I would probably find that it has a lot of issues with rotors. That explanation was especially frustrating considering my truck made it approximately 70,000 miles on its original rotors before they ever needed to be replaced. After having my brakes serviced, I was now dealing with rotor problems again in a fraction of that mileage. Because they couldn’t give me a satisfactory explanation, I declined any additional brake work and took my truck to another shop. I’m very glad I did. The other shop documented that my oil cap and dipstick had been left off, with oil throughout the engine area, and had to reinstall both. I emailed Brakes Plus directly about what happened and gave them an opportunity to address it. I have received no response. At this point, it isn’t just one issue. It’s the premature brake problems, the inability to explain why they happened, the concerning condition my truck was left in, and now the lack of response when I tried to address it privately. I no longer trust Brakes Plus to work on my vehicle and would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing major repairs.
