From the start, Cody was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find a solution. Even though the situation involved multiple locations and wasn't a simple, straightforward issue, he took the time to understand what was going on, make the necessary calls, and help get everything resolved. What impressed me most was that he didn't just give me a quick answer and move on. He took ownership of the situation, followed through, and made sure I had the information and support I needed. He also shared some valuable automotive advice that was very helpful. Customer service like this is becoming harder and harder to find. Many managers could learn a lot from Cody's professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to help people. I highly recommend this store. If you're fortunate enough to work with Cody, you'll be in great hands.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
