  Broke a hose on my vehicle trying to get to my oil filter. Proceeds to tell me they can fix it but I would have to pay for it. Then tried to charge me $45 more than my previous times and told me prices went up. Not once while I was waiting or when I spoke to the tech, which turned out to be the one that broke my hose, did anyone go over pricing and let me know that prices had gone up. Ive never in my adult life paid that much for an oil change. Not to mention have the store manager break something on my car only to tell me I would have to pay to fix it. Car overheated twice and I had to pay for a tow trunk to come out. Horrible horrible customer service. Avoid Grease monkey at all cost!!! Not to mention I had antifreeze go all over my engine, driveway and myself!!

  Experience was good, they could’ve used one more employees this morning as they only had one Bay working. But other than that, it was fine.

  I am beyond disappointed with my most recent experience at Grease Monkey. About two weeks ago, I brought my own vehicle in and was helped by a manager named Dewhite. He was polite, professional, respectful, and genuinely kind. As someone who doesn’t know much about vehicles, he took the time to explain everything he was recommending without making me feel embarrassed or pressured. He even took the time to ask if he could give my daughter a popsicle while we waited. Then apologized for the wait. He made us feel welcome, valued, and confident that we were making the right decisions for our vehicle. He even opened the door for us when we left. Based on that experience, I had no hesitation bringing my son’s vehicle back. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. I thought maybe Dewhite was not working, but found out that he is no longer with the company. I also found out that the person I had been talking to this time was the new manager. Who barely acknowledged either me or my son, wouldn’t make eye contact, and honestly seemed like he didn’t want to be there. We specifically requested a tire rotation, but later were told it wasn’t done because we had pulled into the “wrong lane.” Then they proceeded to tell us we could have it done if we waited until the other lane was open, or we could come back another day. They replaced the air filter without asking, even though my husband had just replaced it himself. To make matters worse, they apparently used the wrong oil in my son’s vehicle and only told us the type of oil they put in until we were paying. The service ended up costing over $200, and when my son dropped me off at home afterward, he went back outside and discovered a massive oil leak running down our driveway and toward the gutter! My husband crawled underneath the vehicle and found that the oil bolt had not been tightened. Now I’m facing an additional $250 expense to have oil pressure washed from my driveway, and I could potentially be fined by my HOA if the oil reaches the storm sewer. If my son had just drove away after dropping me off, I’m almost certain his vehicle would have been damaged. What upsets me most is that I no longer feel comfortable trusting this location to fix their own mistake. I would rather have my son’s vehicle towed and pay someone else than return here. I’ve been coming here for years and I know there’s been a lot of changes in management. But if I had known Dewhite no longer worked at this location, I honestly would not have come back. The difference in service, professionalism, and attention to detail was night and day. One experience made me feel appreciated as a customer. The other left me with a leaking vehicle, a stained driveway, and a very expensive lesson. I will not be returning and will be avoiding this location for the foreseeable future.

  Went in for an oil change and received a new air filter as well. I guess they were in too much of a hurry to care how they put it back in. It was bunched up and all the screws weren’t put back correctly. My car started ROUGH and was horrible. It threw codes that it was full injectors to MAF filter so 700 dollars later - I retraced things ( I am not a engine person and you tube is my friend) the air filter being replaced incorrectly messed up the whole system. Grease Monkey is my quick go to but I will go back to my regular shop - these people don’t care about doing a good job.

  I used to avoid coming to this Grease Monkey because every experience I had in the past left me feeling unimportant and poorly treated. That completely changed after the new manager, Dwight, took over the shop. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with genuine respect and kindness. Dwight took the time to thoroughly explain everything my vehicle needed instead of just trying to sell me on crap I didn’t need. He even brought out my old air filter and showed me exactly why it needed replaced, which I really appreciated. What stood out to me the most was how patient and compassionate Dwight was with my special needs daughter. He interacted with her like a human being, with kindness and respect, which honestly does not happen as often as it should. That alone meant more to me than I can explain. I also noticed Dwight encouraging and teaching his employees instead of getting frustrated or talking down to them like I had seen from previous management. The atmosphere in the shop feels completely different now — professional, welcoming, and positive. As long as Dwight is running this shop, I honestly won’t take my vehicle anywhere else.
