  The other day when I had to go put gas (because my husband forgot), I went to Maverick to put gas! A new vehicle and not having ever put gas, I could not remove the gas cap! I go in to ask for help and Melissa came to my rescue. We discovered it does not have a cap— but she went above and beyond to assist me and helped me make a very unpleasant experience a very great day! To Melissa for going above and beyond the call of duty. 🏆

  Hoy vi un racismo hacia mi persona un empleado que dice saber 2 idiomas español inglés y que no le pagan por hablar español no quería ablarme en español porque no le pagan x esoToday I witnessed racism directed at me. An employee who claims to speak two languages, Spanish and English, and who isn't paid to speak Spanish, refused to speak to me in Spanish because he isn't paid for it.

  This is the worst Mavericks I have been to. They had zero food out at 4:30pm when they're sign says the kitchen is open until 6pm. Not honoring your posted hours is bad business practice.

  Yesterday, from 1.00 pm to 1.30 pm, I had the worst experience of discrimination and racism in that store, I am from the state of Nebraska, and I traveled there for a project, I stayed in the area for 6 days, I visited the store every day, there were always bitter faces on the staff, but never imagined that they had hatred for the Hispanic race. It was my last day yesterday, I went to fill up with fuel, because before that company changed its name, it was one of my favorites after filling up fuel, I went back to buy. When I moved from the parking lot, I realized that I forgot to put my address of my destination, I stopped and then someone was behind my truck, horning desperately, I moved thinking that this is getting in the way, I tried to put my address again and my GPS was not working for me, and the person kept on forcing me with the excuse that I was blocking, then a worker from the store who was there arrives and started shouting at me to get away because I was blocking, I said, a lot of space for... I threatened to call the police, I moved to the edge of the street to try again with my GPS, and I was still behind, forcing me to leave the place, I invite the administrator to review the videos and ask the workers at what moment I hinder someone, I only understand very clearly that it is an act of racism, the employee was a thin man with long hair, I think with the prestige that this store has in different states of the USA, if I do. If the administrator were to fire that person immediately, because there are many Hispanics who spend our money at those gas stations, and at least we should feel confident to enter thanks!
