  Last week during some rain, I got a flat. Didn't know it til i got to work. We had this service last year..Didn't have to use it til last week. This is our 1st time with this company . Eitherway Edwardo ( sorry if I spelled his name wrong) . He got to my job in a good timely fashion. I was worried it was gonna be forever. He was polite. I felt bad he had to do it on the rain. I thought he was just gonna put my spare tire on it. NOPE ! I was so shocked, he actually fixed my flat tire.. I was like AWSOME..I live in NJ. I would definitely recommend this company. I didn't read the reviews last year when we 1st went with them. For me and my family they did good by us. We have the platinum one.. We had the other road side company for years. Believe me there was plenty of times when we would have to wait, or have the person coming with an attitude. I hope that we wont need them again for any thing. But if we do im so glad we have them. We go to Philly once a month sometimes more. I have a rare cancer. So its important I go for my treatments. With going there it makes me be concerned if we ever needed assistance for our vehicles. But with GOOD SAM roadside. I feel confident they will do good by us . They did good by us last week. If we ever need them again.. i have faith in them. That they will give us the same great service for what ever. So thank you.. Angie B

  Totally worthless service. I had two flat tires. They couldn’t find the tires or a shop to change them in over 24 hours. I ended up driving to a local tire shop myself, leaving my 5th wheel unattended at a truck stop. I had the job completed myself in a few hours once I made the decision to not rely on this service and do it myself. No reason to pay for a service that is inept.

  I purchased Good Sam Platinum Roadside Assistance for peace of mind while traveling with our fifth wheel. Unfortunately, when we actually needed help, the coverage was useless. Our tow vehicle broke down while actively towing our fifth wheel on the NY Thruway. The truck had to be towed to a dealership, leaving the RV stranded solely because the tow vehicle failed. Despite advertising RV-specific roadside assistance and coverage for fifth wheels, Good Sam would only move the RV to the “nearest safe place” — which they said could literally be a parking lot or tow yard — not to our reserved campground just 90 miles away. To actually get the fifth wheel to our campground, we were quoted about $1,500 out of pocket with zero reimbursement. For a company marketing “Platinum” RV roadside coverage, this was incredibly disappointing. The advertising creates the impression of meaningful RV travel protection, but the reality was a lot of technicalities and very little practical help when we truly needed it. AAA on the other hand was incredibly helpful. Rather than wasting my time, telling me all about the ways they won't cover me like the rep and supervisor at Good Sam did, AAA called around to find a better tow rate (half the price btw) and then reimbursed me $500 for the RV tow and separately arranged to tow my car nearly 200 miles to our preferred mechanic for free. On top of that, they are reimbursing us for the unexpected hotel stay and offered a complimentary one day car rental so we could finish our drive to our destination. Good Sam should be embarrassed to compare themselves to AAA and I look forward to the day they rip off the wrong influencer.

  We’ve had 4 experiences w/ good Sam and only 1 was positive. I had a flat tire on my passenger car, dispatch was unable to locate me even when I provided which mile maker I was at. They took so long that a local law enforcement stepped to put on my spare. The second experience was being refused a tow of my motor home after it was vandalized (the catalyst converter was stolen as well as damage done to the manifold). Since it was not deemed at mechanical, GS refused to tow it to the nearest dealership/ garage less than 15 mins away, My most recent experience was today when trying to get a tow for my passenger car. They dispatched a company located nearly 2 hours away. We kept getting delayed, but when getting to them being only 21 minutes away, it was changed to another hour. The dispatched company never showed up after we waited more than 4 hours. I took matters into my own hands and called a local company that was there within 10 mins.

  SCAM!! Zero Stars! I’m a platinum member and the customer service is horrendous! 3 Associates callers, 6 calls maybe more to get into contact with this company. Poor communication! Felt like they were gossiping about my situation ,then them escalating it or having a direct conversation. Quote “ yeah this is the case that everyone is talking about” minutes, minutes and minutes later!! Place me on hold, Hanging up on me, Having me call back again, again, AGAIN, AGAIN! I have no vehicle on file registered to my account and I get this connections with my company. Junk Platinum Service! SCAM! Save your money! My company should! 🚫 Sadly after 50 minutes of unproductive with these people, I was able to have someone come and assist me with my spare key! Waste of Time! Waste of Space! Most HORRIBLE Experience EVER! I would hope in life I Never Talk To These Assocates that are poor excuses for customer serviceI representative. Your better off talk a walk! AWFUL!! HORRIBLE!!
