  I wish I had stuck with AAA their service is actually worth it. First roadside assistance call I waited 4 hours for a tow. Second call to change a tire and move my camper 8mins down the road they tried to refuse to move it and finally agreed to do it full price. My storage is redoing their parking lot and will have it towed out to a tow yard if I don’t move it this week. The entire reason I chose Good Sam was for the RV package and they don’t do anything. Thanks for nothing waste of money will NEVER go through this company until the day I die. Take your money to AAA where it’ll actual be of some use.

  Find a different service before you need roadside assistance. I've been paying for this service for over 8 years, and just tried to use it. Last week I was broke down in the desert. I was told they couldn't help me, but they were giving me an "offer" to call me the next day to try to schedule a tow. So there I was, in the desert, no town within 50 miles and nearly 100°. And the best they could do for me was "offer" to call me back 24 hrs later. Mind you, I was in my 1/2 ton truck. Not even in the RV and no trailer. I asked, "are we supposed to sleep in the bushes next to the highway tonight?" And the response was (again) "I'm giving you an offer to call you back tomorrow". I'm sorry, but after paying for this service for more than 8 years, an offer to call me in 24 hrs isn't really sufficient. I ended up having to call my own tow, which cost me $400. So tell me, how is a Good Sam membership worth the money? Like I said, find a different service. Good Sam will only leave you stranded when the time comes that you need them. And their dumb auto response to reviews is as worthless as their service.

  With the advertisements and ads failed to tell you, is that unlike AAA even with Good Sam's best membership you still have to pay fees for for each service at the time of service. I guess that could be useful if you're way out of town but if you're anywhere near anybody that you know you could just as well pay them the same amount to bring you feel so I definitely recommend AAA over this

  I had my truck breakdown when I was hooking up my trailer at my house. My truck was halfway into the street and halfway on the driveway I needed good Sam to come out and move my truck from where it had broke down in the street into my driveway until my mechanic could come out and look at it when I called good Sam they told me that that did not meet the minimum distance and it wasn’t covered. I paid over $200 for the premium roadside assistance package and was stuck with that tow. Be careful when you buy this Service and I am looking into AAA and Allstate roadside assistance also cause I don’t like being lied to.

  Please read the entire review!! I have used my membership three times with success... once with a camper blowout and twice with my vehicle flat tires. The people who helped me were great!! So great, that I convinced my daughter, because they were pulling a camper, to join as well. Her experience has been horrendous. The first breakdown,, she communicated with the dispatch service. Even though they paid for Good Sam's membership before they left for their camping trip my daughter was told their coverage wasn't valid yet. Now 1 AM stuck on the highway...a trooper stopped and happened to know of a person who would take care of their issue. One lug nut was "stuck" otherwise they could have changed the tire themselves. BTW.. Last Saturday, Labor Day weekend) they were almost to the campground (25 miles), their vehicle's serpentine belt broke.(around 4:30 PM) .this time they needed a tow. Good Sam dispatcher said someone would be on their way. An hour later, the dispatch service told them there was no one to help!! Good thing they were also paying for AAA...who dispatched someone to tow their vehicle to the garage. Lucky I (the dad), was waiting for the family to meet us camping had a truck traveled to where they were located and was able to bring the four children and tow the camper to the campsite!! It was 10:30 PM before everyone was safe and sound at the campground.... So far...Overall, because of my daughter's experiences, in one season, I rate Good Sam's Roadside Assistance...Rating = 1.. My daughter and family has been in harms way twice!!!
