  be careful with this company, they will send you an email after 3 weeks to report a "DAMAGE" that they found the same day , they are trying to steal from me $720 for a cosmetic issue that they "FOUND" when i returned the car, They "FOUND" this issue when i returned the car and did not let me know , DONT BELIEVE ME? do your own research on other website there are hundreds of victims , WE HAVE TO STOP THIS !! i will repost this and put them on other websites in case this get taken down... BE AWARE OF THIS !! i ll make sure to check this review every day. check on tik tok about this SCAM, ALMOST 2000 VICTIMS , i will put this everywhere to alert the community about this SCAM

  First off, they advertised Toyota Camry or similar (when they don't even have Toyotas), then they tried to upsell us to a BMW, Volvo, etc. When we said no, they said they're going to upgrade us anyway. The car they gave us was so small and cramped (BMW series 3 instead of the full size Camry we reserved), we were so uncomfortable. Also, unlike most other car rental places, we had to pay to add a spouse as a driver.

  Are they incompetent or are they thieves? I rented a car in August 2025. Upon pickup, I noticed some minor cosmetic damage to the wheels and I took photos. I didn't mention it to employees because I figured that the damage was minor enough that Sixt did not consider it to be an issue. A day after returning the car, I was sent an email from Sixt telling me that I had damaged the wheels and they wanted to pursue a claim. I sent them the photos I'd taken, and shared that I felt it was not acceptable for them to hold me responsible for pre-existing damage. They are either incompetent for not knowing the condition of a car they are sending out on a rental, or they are trying to fraudulently extract additional income from me or my insurance company for damage I did not incur. There is no way to draw a conclusion that reflects positively upon Sixt. After my response, I got an automated email that they would not be pursuing the claim further, but they failed to address any of my concerns. If you're going to rent a car here, be sure to take extensive photos of every part of the car when you pick it up, because in my experience they cannot be trusted. I had a good experience with their employees and with the car, but none of that really matters given the way I was treated after I returned the car. There are a LOT of options to rent a car at the Denver airport. You may be served better elsewhere.

  “Brooke A” at the counter went out of her way to fulfill my children’s wishes to have the exact car they wanted - even though it was buried behind others and they had to shuffle them around to get to it. And “Luke” the driver of the shuttle was the most pleasant and friendly person we encountered on our trip. He hopped right out to grab our bags for us, his “it’s so good to see you” was such a great customer service line- especially since it was being said to strangers-it stood out. Put this man in charge of training shuttle drivers across the country! He and Brooke should do a customer service Ted Talk! Thank you from The MacDonalds.

  Terrible experience with SIXT I booked through the SIXT app using Apple Pay specifically because it said I could skip the long lines and pick up automatically via the app. When I got there, the app did NOT let me check out. The only options it gave me were to pay MORE to upgrade, or downgrade my car for the SAME price. I booked a specific type of car and wanted what I paid for, so I was forced to wait in the line I was promised I could skip. At the counter, they kept trying to upsell me. Then they told me my business credit card (which I used for the business booking and had physically with me) was not acceptable and they needed a personal card. I had my personal cards on Apple Pay, but they said they don't take Apple Pay (but on their app they accept it???) at the counter. They said they would have to cancel my booking. I kept asking if there’s any way to keep the booking. The guy behind the counter consulted his manager. After back and forth whispers they both said there is nothing I can do The only option they gave me was to put the rental in my husband's name because he had his physical personal card. He is under 25, so that would mean a ton of extra young driver fees. I was exhausted after a long flight and just wanted to get to my hotel. I almost gave in, when I realized - I can just check out on the app using Apple Pay and avoid all those extra fees. It felt like they were intentionally trying to take advantage of tired travelers to make more money. Why didn’t they tell me right away Im so sorry but we don’t accept apple pay at the counter, but our app does??? And you can finish the process on our app Why???
