    The shuttle availability and experience was excellent! The email communications ahead of rental were excellent. I was not aware of pre-checkin option and decided to give it a try. It was mostly good. Suggest to put a huge sign at shuttle drop off on where to go for the grab-a-car lot, because I spent some time wandering around looking for it. It's hidden out of sight in the back. Also suggest a large notice to pax to find the key inside the car before they leave the lot. We spent hour at destination looking for key that had fallen and slid beneath a mat. And there were only 2 lot exit gates available creating a sizable delay getting out of the lot - that was really frustrating. You traded counter time for exiting time. Car met expectations. Returning car was excellent process.

    I’m super impressed with Alamo! This was my first time booking with them through the Costco Travel program, and the price was great. I booked a Jeep Wrangler for my Denver trip and ended up getting a brand-new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with only 534 miles on it! The accelerated check-in process was amazing — I completed everything from home and went straight to the parking lot after arriving. Once I got there, the staff member simply said, “Choose any Jeep you like from that line.” I’ve honestly never had an experience like that before. Returning the car after the trip was just as smooth and hassle-free. I’ll definitely be booking with Alamo again in the future. Thank you, Alamo, for the outstanding service — kudos to the entire team!

    I always rent from Alamo. It’s always a great experience and they go above and beyond providing service. I rent from them in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Orlando, knowing that should anything happen, they will take care of it. For instance, years ago while on a trip with my young children in CA, the rental I drove from LA to San Francisco suddenly developed a problem in that the engine would suddenly turn off. I was near San Fran and called their customer service and they told me where to take it. When I pulled in, they had the next car ready, transferred our luggage and sent us on our way (no paperwork!!). They sent a coupon for a free rental, too. This trip in Denver last Friday, I always rent a Rogue because in 2017 they upgraded me to a Rogue and I liked it so much that I ended up buying one. Then when I sat in it, I found that the usb port for my cell phone charger was too small, so the agent found another model (a Jeep) that had the same size as my charger. He said the some of the newer model cars have different sized chargers. I love Alamo!!

    Absolutely satisfied with their customer service, people here take the time to listen to your needs, take the time to find a solution to any type of situation as long as is possible for them and within reason, and their kindness is appreciated so very much. I had an issue with two rental places before visiting them (ROUTES and ACE) and as soon I told them they patiently and actively listened, they reviewed my documents and everything was perfect since the second they started taking care of everything. I truly appreciate that the people here are professionals and make you feel like the valued customer you are. Thank you Alamo for making my little family have a happy trip and an excellent Mother’s Day.

    Update: Alamo replied publicly to this review and asked me to contact customer support so the issue could be passed along to someone who could address it. I did exactly that and followed up more than once, but unfortunately I have still not received any meaningful response or assistance. This makes the experience even more disappointing. The issue was not only the assigned vehicle, but also the lack of helpful follow-up after I tried to resolve the matter through the official channels. Since your reply mentions passing my information along to someone who can address the concern, I would appreciate it if Alamo Customer Relations could contact me directly through a private channel. I’m happy to provide all rental details privately. - I have rented with Alamo for several years and was usually very satisfied, but my recent experience at Denver Airport was very disappointing. I booked a one-way Standard SUV for a long Southwest road trip, expecting a noticeably larger and more capable vehicle than an Intermediate SUV. Instead, I was assigned a Chevrolet Equinox without being allowed to choose from the Choice Line. The car itself is in good condition and functional, but it feels much closer to a smaller crossover / Intermediate SUV than what I expected from the Standard SUV category. As a European customer, it was not really possible for me to properly assess the Chevrolet Equinox in advance, since this model is not commonly available in Europe. Had I known that this would be the vehicle assigned in the Standard SUV category, I would have booked the lower category instead and saved a significant amount of money. What made the situation even more frustrating was that larger SUVs such as Dodge Durangos and Ford Explorers were clearly visible in the lot. When I politely asked about switching to one of those vehicles, the lot employee was rather unfriendly and simply stated that the Equinox was a Standard SUV and that we should have booked something larger if we wanted a bigger vehicle. I also contacted customer service about a possible exchange, but the responses were very short, unhelpful, and not friendly either. Overall, while the vehicle is in good condition, the category feels misleading from a customer perspective, the lack of flexibility was disappointing, and the customer service experience was poor. After being a loyal Alamo customer for several years, this was not the level of service I expected.
