  Quick pickup from the airport. Friendly drivers. Strongly recommend using the skip the line online check in feature which takes a couple minutes to fill out and saves tons of time upon pickup. Walked off the bus right to a car of our choice, they had the car seat ready for us we requested: they even said we could select a larger vehicle if we wanted no extra charge. Only slight negative was our vehicle showed “full” on pickup however it had lost about 40-50miles (I could tell bc when I filled it up at return it showed more miles to empty than when I picked it up). I mentioned this to the staff on my return and was promptly issued a 25 dollar refund. Drop off was painless and barely any wait for the shuttle to drop us back off at the airport. Would definitely rent from Alamo at Denver airport again in the future.

  ***BEWARE OF HAIL DAMAGE SCAM*** Take pictures/video of your rental. This company tried to scam me to make an insurance claim due to hail damage, after we checked the car in with no problems, a month later. While in CO it did not rain the entire duration of the week I stayed. There were active wildfires throughout the state. Alamo tried to offload previous damage on me which was false and incorrect. The employees at the rental agency were completely fine, however the company itself has issues. There were 3 different people from different departments all trying to get me to make a claim and told me it was my responsibility to pay for damage. Take pictures of your rental as backup because it will be up to you to provide proof. This company does not care. I have rented cars all over the world and this is a first. Will never use Alamo again.

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rashid H., the rental car agent who helped me this past Thursday around 11am at Denver International Airport. He was sincere, kind, patient, and genuinely compassionate. I had just come from a very difficult and frustrating experience with another rental car company, Routes, and Rashid H. completely turned my day around. He welcomed me, listened to what had happened, helped get me into a vehicle, and even upgraded me. I truly appreciated the way he treated me. The short athletic younger dark haired gentleman assisting customers out on the drive was equally wonderful. He took the time to help me find just the right SUV that would be compatible with my usb charging chord for my trip and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle before I left. Between him and Radid H., my experience picking up the car was exceptional, and I left feeling incredibly grateful that I had chosen Alamo. Unfortunately, my experience when returning the vehicle was completely different. About five minutes after leaving the airport on my way to South Dakota, a rock struck the windshield. The impact caused a crack that eventually spread across the windshield. Obviously, nobody wants something like this to happen, especially right after renting the vehicle and it was an upsetting situation. I had declined the additional protection when I rented the vehicle, and I understood that there could be financial consequences as a result. What I did not expect was the way I would be treated when I returned the vehicle. Manager Ryan Dolson was unnecessarily harsh and, in my experience, showed very little empathy or compassion for the situation. His tone and the way he spoke to me made an already stressful situation significantly worse. I left the interaction feeling so upset that I was close to tears. I understand that Alamo has procedures for handling vehicle damage, and I was not expecting anyone to simply overlook the damage or my responsibility for it. However, there is a way to communicate difficult information while still treating a customer with kindness, dignity, and respect. That is what makes this review particularly disappointing. Rashid H. and the gentleman on the drive gave me an outstanding first impression of Alamo and demonstrated exactly what excellent customer service should look like. Unfortunately, the treatment I received when returning the vehicle overshadowed much of that positive experience. I sincerely hope Alamo recognizes Rashid and the pickup team for the exceptional way they treated me. At the same time, I hope management takes my return experience seriously. A customer can understand being held responsible for an unfortunate situation while still expecting to be treated with basic compassion and respect. Because of how I was treated at the end of my rental, I am now hesitant to rent from Alamo again, despite how exceptional my experience was with Rashid and the team when I picked up the vehicle.

  This was the best rental car experience I’ve ever had. I chose Alamo over Enterprise based on the excellent online reviews, and I’m really glad I did. The pickup process was incredibly easy, especially because I used the “Skip the Counter” option. I arrived around midnight, took the airport shuttle, and was able to choose the vehicle on my own. There was no one available to guide me at that hour, but the process was still very straightforward and easy to figure out. The drop-off experience was even better. I didn’t notice a small crack in the windshield and had absolutely no idea how it happened. I was already thinking about contacting my insurance when the Alamo employee noticed the damage and told me that it would be taken care of on their side. That was a huge relief and really showed me that they care about their customers. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Alamo. The entire process was smooth, convenient, and stress-free. I would definitely choose Alamo again for my future rental car needs and highly recommend them!

  We arrived late in the evening, were shown the cars to pick from in the class we had reserved. We chose a Ford Bronco as we've never driven one and wanted to check it out. We immediately noticed a half empty water bottle in the driver seat. We dismissed it to someone being busy and got on the road. We soon realized the brakes were making a horrible noise which my husband attributed to warped rotors. He tested the brakes somewhat and they appeared to work fine but just made a horrible noise. My husband indicated while driving that there was a huge smudge on the windshield right in driver's line of vision. We pulled over to remove it at our first opportunity and discovered it was sticker adhesive - alot of it. It took a while to rub it all off so he could continue driving safely (there was also same type of residue on passenger side window). We were told when we picked up the car to email a specific address if we had any issues, so we did once we got to our hotel and let them know about the brake issue. We hear nothing back from them. When we returned the car, we met with manager of facility and let him know the issues we encountered and that they were all safety issues that should never have been allowed to be on a car being picked up by customer, especially at nighttime. He wrote some notes on window of car and assured us he would review this with team and take care of this. He also credited our rental a specific amount which we appreciated. We were more concerned about safety issues than the refund but were thankful for the refund.
