  I brought a fleet vehicle in for an oil change. I normally have a voucher for approved locations, but I didn’t have time to get to one, so I chose to pay out of pocket and was very conscious of the cost. When I arrived, Cameron helped me. I specifically asked what a basic synthetic oil change would cost and was told $114. There was no mention of extra charges for additional oil, a special filter, or anything else. While I waited, they brought me a sheet with additional recommended services and pricing, yet even then no one mentioned that my oil change would cost more. At checkout, the $114 oil change had become $157.13. Only then was I told the vehicle required more than 5 quarts of oil, adding $15.38, and a special filter that added another $15. My issue is not that the vehicle needed more oil or a different filter. My issue is that I specifically asked the price beforehand and was quoted $114. A shop that does oil changes every day should be able to identify these additional costs based on the vehicle and disclose them before the work is completed. When I questioned the price, Cameron told me there was nothing he could do. It was only after I said I would be contacting the company that he offered to apply a coupon. I declined and paid the bill. I had previously had an issue at a different Grease Monkey location that was not owned by this group, and at that time I was told that this owner/GM does not allow this type of customer service at his locations. That is one of the reasons I plan to reach out to them directly on Monday. If I had been told upfront that the total would be around $157, I could have made an informed decision. Quoting $114 and then presenting a bill more than $40 higher after the work was completed feels deceptive and lacks transparency.

  This was the worst experience I have ever had anywhere... I went in September 11th for an oil change and was told I needed a battery. I went back on Monday September 14th to get a new battery! Long story short my battery was still good, they replaced it anyways, with the wrong type and size battery. They stripped the battery cables and connectors, which caused me to break down less than a mile down the road. They had stripped the connections on the battery which shorted it out, causing several fuses to blow, and fried my alternator in the process. My car had to be towed and is finally out of the shop as of yesterday. The most disappointing part is they won't return my calls!! They also treated me like I didn't know what I was talking about when I asked questions about concerning things before I left. What a nightmare!!!!! They asked me to reach out to them! I did and no response!!! So much for customer service and pride in doing a good job!!! 😳😡

  I would give 0 stars if I could. Conner is the rudest person! When I stopped in he asked what oil I use. I said half and half usually. He quotes me $99 with the coupon which I know what not correct as I go to Grease Monkey all the time. I told him it has never been that expensive. He seriously looked at me and said very rudely 'ok if you want the cheap shit I'll give you the cheap shit. Get out of the car and give me your keys" and he tossed his Ipad in the air and walked off. I backed up to leave as there was no way I was paying too much and being treated rudely. I will never go here and I would advise others to think twice before going here.
