They later posted that I picked this item up and charged me. Upon calling this store, they said they cannot find this order and cannot do anything. This is crazy ripping customer off for order they cancelled on customer and charge it later. Dishonest. Crazy. Worthless.
- AFAutumn FrancisDec 16, 20251.0Stopped by this store a couple weeks ago (right before Thanksgiving), to test and possibly replace my truck battery. From the start, the employee acted like he was annoyed when I asked him to test my battery to see if it needed replaced. He reluctantly went outside with us, and it did in fact show I needed a new battery. Went inside to price out new batteries, and before we even asked them to install it he said, "oh and we can't install this here today because it's too cold outside and we might get sick." It was 45 degrees out- so not "cold" by Colorado standards at all. He clearly just didn't want to do it. We decided to leave, went down the street to a different Autoparts store and bought a battery there instead where they had no problem taking 5 minutes to install the battery. Don't advertise a service if your employees are too lazy to provide it.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle.
