  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at AutoZone this morning. I arrived at 8:00 AM due to an emergency with my car, and according to the posted hours everywhere, the store opens at 7:30 AM. However, when I arrived, the doors were still locked. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing two employees standing outside in the parking lot laughing and talking with each other while we were dealing with a stressful car emergency and waiting for the store to open. If your posted hours say you open at 7:30 AM, customers should be able to come in and receive help at that time. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

  My son and I just arrived from a long drive to Colorado from Virginia, and we had just arrived in Brighton when we found ourselves in a difficult situation. The battery on the car we were towing had died, and we needed to get it started so we could move it off the trailer. Allen Johnson came right out with a jumper and got the car started for us. We quickly realized, however, that we couldn’t get the key to turn and the steering wheel wouldn’t move. Allen stayed and continued helping us, and he suggested that we take the car off the trailer. I am so thankful he did. Once we started trying to unload it, we realized the chain was locked so tightly between the car and the trailer that we couldn’t get it released. Allen went above and beyond, even working past his shift to help us remove the bolt holding the chain to the trailer and safely release the vehicle. If it hadn’t been for Allen, my son and I would have been in a real pickle after leaving his store. His kindness, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond made a stressful situation so much easier. Allen, I cannot thank you enough for everything you did for us. You truly went out of your way to help two people who really needed it, and we are incredibly grateful! ❤️

  I took a battery purchased at another store to get it charged overnight. They checked it, said it was good, and we came back the next morning. They said it was bad and wouldn’t hold a charge. Took it to the auto store we purchased it at, and they charged it good to go in thirty minutes. Seems they were just trying to get us to buy a new battery from them

  I went to this store on Thursday night to return duralast brake hardware. I did not have my receipt. The guy behind the counter told me he could only look up my receipt if I knew the day and time I visited their store. I bought this hardware about a week ago. Not sure if it was on the thurs or Friday. I went to fort lupton store they called 819 and they immediately looked it up via part number. I dont know if it is laziness or sexism but it is disgraceful I had to go to another store to get the help I should have received there. I used to work at autozone. I always recommend them. This somehow makes this interaction worse.

  Today my mother went to AutoZone. Her English is very limited, so she asked an employee if he spoke Spanish. Instead of answering her question, he asked her, "Do you speak English?" She replied, "A little." He continued helping her in English, but after a while he suddenly started speaking Spanish. My mother said, "So you do speak Spanish?" His response was, "Well, we're in America." It was disappointing and hurtful to hear someone say that to a customer who was simply asking for help in a language she understands better. Speaking another language is a way to provide good customer service, not something to shame someone for needing. It's sad that AutoZone would employ someone who would treat a customer this way. My mother deserved to be treated with respect and kindness, regardless of the language she speaks. Unfortunately she didn't get a name . His bigger guy with a piercing on his eyebrow.
