Brakes Plus and the owner did a fantastic job with my brake check. Then after they consulted me on the condition of my brakes, we moved forward with brake pad and rotors replacement. The best part is the pads have a lifetime warranty on them. They even did a tire rotation at no charge. Very good experience and the owner is an honest and good guy.

The brakes plus team gave my truck an alignment and inspected my brake systems. They gave me good feedback on what needs to be done for the next time I visit. Thanks for all the help and thanks to the team. Super speedy as well!

I received an oil change from brakes plus today and I wasn’t disappointed in the service itself but rather it’s business practices. I called a week prior to confirm a price for my vehicle that takes 7 quarts. I was assured I’d leave under 100 bucks. Instead I paid 130. They also attempted to up-charge me with made up data regarding my coolants last flush. The work done wasn’t poor but I will not be returning.

As another shop owner I truly appreciate being on the road and encountering shops like this one - I brought in my lifted sprinter with a pop top on top and solar panels - short answer from other shops was “it won’t fit” These guys weren’t sure but they took the time to confirm it would fit if I removed my rear bike rack (would hang out the garage and not allow lifting the vehicle) - they got me in quickly , didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need and got me back on the road asap. If I’m in boulder I’ll be stopping back by here - thanks guys!

I stopped by Brakes Plus *once again* for their famous “50% off oil change” special—because apparently I enjoy being surprised, confused, and mildly insulted before 9 a.m. This was my third or fourth oil change there, and historically it’s been around **$54** with the discount. Reasonable. Predictable. Civilized. Today? I was quoted **$164**. When I asked how an oil change had suddenly become a luxury item, I was told, with a straight face, that “oil has gone up.” Fascinating, considering the giant board in the lobby clearly says the package is **$102**. But wait—plot twist—they informed me that the $102 was *only for the oil*, and my car “needed two extra quarts.” (It needed one. One. Singular. Uno.) When I pointed out that the advertised price was half off **$102**, (which I had been charged during previous oil changes) they graciously offered to do the oil change for **$99**. What a deal. Practically charitable. In short: **textbook bait-and-switch**. A masterclass, really. If this were a business ethics exam, they’d get an A+ for creativity and an F for honesty. It’s genuinely disappointing, because I used to like their service. But if every oil change requires a negotiation worthy of a used‑car lot, I’ll take my business elsewhere. I dare say what would happened if I had the rear brakes done as I had planned and they recommended on my last visit. ---
