  6-Car Loyal VW Customer — Scammed on Lease Buyout and Sold a Defective Vehicle I've been a loyal Volkswagen and Audi customer through six consecutive vehicles. That loyalty ends here, and I want to make sure nobody else gets taken the way I was. My salesperson, Omar, called me months before my ID.4 lease ended to pressure me into turning it in early. I was about 2,500 miles over my mileage limit and was planning to pre-purchase the overage miles — the responsible, straightforward thing to do. Omar convinced me to skip that, promising he would cover my remaining lease payments. He handed me a check for $1,800 and assured me it would take care of everything — the remaining payments and any mileage overage. I now believe the real motivation was to move a sitting 2025 model. I was the vehicle that needed to go, not the other way around. The Tiguan I drove off the lot had no working AC and a broken fuel gauge indicator. Two serious issues on a brand-new vehicle I had just signed for. Scheduling a service appointment with a loaner car took weeks, and the repairs dragged on for over a month. Not exactly the seamless VW experience I'd built six vehicles of loyalty around. Then the final bill from my ID.4 lease arrived: $2,500. I called Omar immediately. His response? The $1,800 was "just an estimate" and there was nothing he could do. When I pushed back, he pointed to my signature on the paperwork — as if a contract I signed in good faith based on his verbal promises somehow absolved him of making those promises. That's not a miscommunication. That's a bait-and-switch. Omar did exactly what gives car salespeople their worst reputation: he called a loyal, trusting long-term customer, made specific financial promises to rush a deal, and then disclaimed those promises the moment they became inconvenient. I told him directly — he can choose to treat customers this way, but I would never buy from him or Tynan's again, and I would make sure others knew. If you're considering Tynan's VW, do yourself a favor: get every single thing in writing before you hand over any keys. Dollar amounts, coverage terms, all of it. Verbal commitments from this sales floor are worthless. Six vehicles. Never again.

  We had a fantastic experience with Ryan, Jacob, and the rest of the team at Tynan’s when our last vehicle croaked and we needed to buy a new one. Ashley and the service team are also great! Ryan and Jacob made things quick and easy, and the car, with Tynan’s lifetime warranty, is just what we’re looking for. Our 3rd VW, and first with Tynan’s, but definitely not our last.

  I walked in at 3pm and walked out with keys and signed paperwork at 3:13. This was this ingle est and easiest car buying experience I e ever had. We’ve bought many cars from Tynans including my first new car 26 years ago and they are absolutely an amazing group of people! Thanks for the new Golf R!

  Guillermo helped get my wife into a Jetta for exactly what we wanted to spend, made sure the car was detailed before our arrival, all the paperwork was ready to go, we spent maybe 30 minutes between the test drive of the exact car we would be taking home, and signing paperwork. Best experience at a Dealership to date, will absolutely go back again!
