They are running a card reader scam they charged me then couldn’t provide a receipt for my purchase and then told me I had to call a customer service number to get a receipt and to see where the money went and they were so rude be aware… very similar to previous reviews

Poor management, woman manager screaming at a juvenile girl accusing her of theft without looking at the cameras.

Love this place mainly cause my drink is usually stocked but hate the fact they don't have an open sign. Plenty times I think they closed and they not. It is already dark from the windows.

Under Colorado law businesses have to accept valid IDs, Drivers Licenses, and Passports. I tried to buy tobacco today which I do almost everyday at this location. The clerks know me and have never had an issue serving me. My wallet was stolen and I brought in my valid US passport and was told by maverik if they can’t scan a barcode they won’t accept any form of identification to sell 21+ items. They can’t even type in a birthdate here. Maverik thinks they’re combatting underage sales but really they’re encouraging fraudulent behavior because have the clerks don’t even look at the ID they just scan it and let you purchase it. How many underage people could get away with purchasing 21+ purchases by using someone else’s ID because maverik only allows clerks to scan it and nothing else? This was absurd as a loyal customer when I’m of age and brought my legal form of identification in to buy tobacco. They should consider changing the policy and giving clerks the ability to type in a birth date.
