By the time of day I arrived, my body was absolutely done.Horrible physical pain, so, will get better video and photos another time. But, overall, great truck stop & fuel station to stop at when driving through area. This Flying J's is attached to a Denny's, & has a few, fun claw machines, that happened to have 1 play left...I played. It was cute. Fun. Almost actually won, too, but didn't.Oh, well. There's grab & go food, fried chicken at a deli-style area w/ hot food. They offer a variety of drink options, including coffee options, where you can actually get the cold-coffee concentrate over ice, or hot coffee. Whatever your flavor is feelin, no matter the time of day! Fountain Drinks avail, also. Only cubed ice, though. But, it doesn't really matter when it's this hot outside!
One of the neatest areas that they have is a large seating space for drivers, with a nice big TV in it; so you can stretch your legs, then sit down & turn your brain off after a long drive. The fact that they have this area is nice, especially if you have to wait for a shower to come available. Also, Excellent A/C! It is definitely a bonus to be able to go hang out somewhere that's nice & cool with these aggressively hot days & not be limited to the cab of the truck, or any vehicular!
Bathrooms & showers are 5 Stars! Clean, as far as I could tell. Awesome job Flying J crew! I didn't shower here, due to lack of funds at this part of the journey & needing to rest. But, I believe it is cheaper than other truck stops. Not 100% sure, though.
Flying J isn't a station I frequate, but I'm sure they have an app that has offers, coupons, & fuel deals for members.
Mainly, Ya'll, they've got fuel, most importantly, right?!?!
Diesel & Regular Petrol available. Priced a little higher than surrounding petrol stations, this time. Just a heads up.
The store has all the typical convenience stuff, things, snacks, drinks, & CO geared souvenirs, too. There were also various t-shirts, model cars, & misc items, such as toys, wooden boxes, shot glasses, key chains, patches, hats, etc.
Oh, they do have a much larger selection & more variety in the auto section! They've got just about any auto fluid you would need, including additives, stop-leaks, grease & products alike. They also carry the heavy duty straps & other items that professional haulers/drivers may typically need in a pinch!
Overnight parking IS available. Keep in mind...Parking Near Denny's (NE side)is TIGHT.ANY trailer WILL have difficulty navigating. Great spot for semi without trailer or load though. I managed it with our F350 just fine. Did not have a trailer this time, though. Just an FYI.
Keep in mind, there is overnight parking...So, anyone that needs overnight parking is welcome. Unfortunately, there are a few people that will solicit that fact, though, and ask for money. The area was pretty safe, overall, & the staff was working 24/7 to keep it all picked up & as clean as possible.
For all those being disrespectful to the premises....please stop. It's not cool. The staff was actually doing routine rounds to gather trash, and keep area clear. I counted six trash cans in view! Use them. Seriously. Otherwise, versus begging for change, ask for a job to help clean up the trash you littered behind my truck. I try REALLY hard to mind my own business, but, they were actively looking for people to hire. There was no need to be littering & soliciting. Times are hard for so many people right now, including this ministry. There have been very tough times for so many. Especially more recently. But, we need to be respectful.
By the way, if there are people that have the ability to help those that are asking for it, it is a beautiful thing to do! Please just use your discernment.
Will get more photos on the way back through area.
It was a very loud night due to trucks running, so, personally, didn't sleep very well. But, if you can handle the noise, you'll be just fine. Safer spot than some places, too. And, they do have Security Guard on duty.
Be Kind & Stay Safe.
Keep on truckin! Stay Blessed!

The 5 stars that I am giving go directly to the employee's that make this place great. They are Mr. Meany, Shannon, Jeremy, Wyatt, and Letha, that work the late shift. They are the reason I come here, I go out of my way to go here, and it is strictly the amazing customer service, conversation, and enthusiasm that I am presented with each and every time I am there. Now the actual establishment gets a Negative 5 stars because.......They violate the rights of their employees', they make decisions about scheduling that has left female employee's vulnerable. I have seen them deny the workers their breaks, and the new manager does nothing but dictate her job job responsibilities for the position onto everyone else. The energy has dropped since they have made management changes, and they do not seem to care about the wellbeing of their staff or quality of life. They need to bring back the people they lost due to their crappy hiring pick, because at the end of the day, these people I mentioned are the ones who have put their time and energy into making it great!!!! Oh my God I almost forgot my beautiful Kristin and her amazing hair styles, welcoming smile, adorable voice, and this girl I tell ya will change a bad day to great with just her Hello! Also Shannon, he looks like ZZ-Top, make sure to call him that if u pass by him, and Wyatt, he goes by Pepsi Bottle, Give him a shout out next time your their, and Meany, he's the best, he is me if I were ever to be a man, I won't though. Leath is awesome and I find her friendly and sweet, but to the common person, she's the one with bark and bite, be polite when you address Mrs. Leath, she deserves it. Jeremy, he goes by Slim, and he has some amazing knowledge on bible readings and information. He is extremely bright.
