  Short story: - They stripped my drain plug - Took off fiber underbody shield and didn't put it back on or give it back to me initially - Truck was dripping oil because of the mess they left - They didnt complete the job or make the situation right - Concerned there were other issues caused by them that went unnoticed Long Story: Took my truck in for an oil change and after about 40 minutes after I dropped the truck off I get a call and voicemail saying they couldn't complete the job because the last person that touched it last stripped the drain plug and they cant remove it. He goes on talking about how they don't have an extractor because the an employee took it, they don't want the liability of trying further and come and get my truck. I go in to get my truck and explain how I just bought it two months ago and had it thoroughly checked out by a mechanic and myself before purchasing so I am confident the plug was in good shape before they attempted service and even offer to pay for additional work to get it right. I get a bit more of the story about how they tried it a few times but they didnt want to make it worse and goes on about how he doesnt have an extractor. I say ok whatever because I dont want to argue about it and will take it somewhere else. I call a few other places and they generally dont want to touch it after I talk through the situation and recommend taking it back to grease monkey. Then I get a call from Grease Monkey, not to make the situation right but to ask me to look for a vape they might have left in my car... half joking I ask if they are going to complete the job if I bring it back by. He says he can try and search local auto parts stores for an extractor and I get more of the story about how they tried the 15mm on the plug a few times then tried hammering on a 14mm but it didnt work. They also changed the oil filter then topped off my oil after they couldnt get the plug off... pretty frustrated at this point that I keep getting the run around on what even happened and they are more concerned about their vape. I dont feel like arguing is going to help at all and dont want them working on my truck at this point so I leave it at that. I go home and see that oil is dripping on my driveway because of the mess they left with oil all over the skid plate and other parts. With a bit of work and challenge I get the plug off myself and drain the oil (I have changed my own oil most my life but dont want to deal with the time and mess these days). Go to autozone to get a new plug and everything else I need. Go by grease monkey and get the fiber underbody shield that I realized was missing and turns out they ripped it off and messed up some clips on it. Overall took a good chunk of time from my day, probably ended up costing me more money after everything was said and done and made a mess in my driveway. Safe to say I will go out of my way to tell people not to take your car here.

  Everyone was wonderful that day that I went in for my oil change. There was no pressure. They were very informative about things that were necessary to do the car. One of which was replacing a reverse tail light bulb

  Got my oil changed yesterday that’s mainly what I do there. Filters also when they need to be changed and fluids. They were so busy trying to up sell me on a list of other things they thought my car needed they didn’t reset my oil light. This bothers me a lot! In the future I’m not so sure I’ll return to Grease Monkey for any more oil changes and we bring 4 cars to you all!

  Really bad experience today. I ended up taking my vehicle to another location. The team member that checked me in was drunk. They told me they were unable to rotate my tires. When it was time to check out I was told I had to pay cash because the machine was down. I didn’t pay and left and went to different location. Looks like the vacuumed the vehicle and reset the oil sensor but didn’t do any actual service and were trying to collect payment. They didn’t enter the service in their computer and were trying to collect payment in cash. The location at 11802 Ralston was able to complete the service. Please use this location instead. Ask for Damion Rangel the manager. He’s super nice and helpful. We won’t be going back and we have several vehicles.
