  Absolutely horrible experience and even worse customer service. My license plate was blown off my car at the dryer while going through the Quick Quack automated car wash. My car was being pushed through by the automated track system, and the bolt from my license plate punctured my tire. What happened afterward has been completely unacceptable. I was initially told someone would contact me within 3 days. Nobody ever called. I then called corporate every Tuesday for an entire month, and every time I was promised that someone would contact me. Nobody did. I finally went to the actual location myself, only to find out the manager was on lunch. When he eventually contacted me, his handling of the situation was terrible. And now, instead of taking responsibility, Quick Quack is trying to claim that there is no evidence of my license plate in their video footage. Their argument is essentially, “The license plate isn’t shown in the video.” Of course it isn’t. THE LICENSE PLATE WAS STUCK TO MY TIRE WITH THE BOLT AFTER IT WAS BLOWN OFF THE CAR. How convenient is that? Rather than actually investigating what happened and taking responsibility for damage that occurred while my vehicle was going through their equipment, they are using the fact that the plate isn’t visible in the footage as a reason to deny responsibility. The manager has also made statements about the incident that I strongly dispute and that, based on what actually happened to my vehicle, I believe are simply not truthful. I was there. I know what happened to my car and what I found afterward. To make matters worse, employees at the location themselves expressed frustration with the manager and told me that he is known for being lazy and not getting things taken care of. After experiencing this situation firsthand, I can certainly understand why they feel that way. Accidents can happen. What matters is how a company handles them. Quick Quack has shown me that when something goes wrong, they will apparently do everything they can to avoid taking responsibility. I spent a month chasing corporate, repeatedly being promised calls from a manager that never came, and ultimately had to show up in person just to try to get someone to address the damage. My tire was punctured by the bolt from my license plate after the plate was blown off during their car wash. I shouldn’t have had to fight this hard just to get someone to take the situation seriously. I will NEVER use Quick Quack again. If you’re trusting them with your vehicle, I’d seriously think twice. Reply: I appreciate the response, but there is a major issue with your conclusion. You have now confirmed in writing that my license plate came off while my vehicle was under your dryers. What you have not proven is that the license plate and its hardware could not have caused the damage to my tire. The plate was not simply found lying somewhere in your car wash. It was pulled out of my tire after I left your facility. The bolt/hardware from the license plate had punctured my tire. That is the physical evidence I have been trying to explain from the beginning. What is especially concerning is that not once in your response did you mention the photo evidence I provided showing the damage to my tire or the license plate/hardware that was pulled from it. Those photos were part of the evidence submitted with my claim. I can only assume that evidence was never actually reviewed, because if it had been, I would expect it to be addressed when explaining why my claim was denied. Your response says the footage shows the plate falling into the tunnel trench and therefore could not have contacted my tire. But that does not explain how the plate hardware ended up lodged in my tire. Your video may show where you believe the plate fell, but it does not erase the physical evidence that was found in my tire. At this point, your response feels less like an investigation of all the evidence and more like a decision based solely on what you believe your video shows.
