Safelite used to be good. I have had previous good services with them. But this last performance went way down hill:
Scratched hood, small glass chanks and glass dust all over inside a car, aftermarket product that doesn't even look like original product and it was not communicated beforehand, careless tech doing a very bad job on expensive car. Unbelievable and the worst of the worst service and performance I have ever had. Don't trust previous good experience with them, take pictures before service and communicate all the details so it doesn't happen to you. Zero stars!!!

These guys are pathetic. 1982 Chevy S10 is too much for their "master technicians". I received confirmation after confirmation that my appointment was set. They even called to get my vin and confirm that they ordered the correct part. Which by the way spans the entire first generation 1982-1993. Then I get a call canceling because their "master technician" said it's too complicated. If you can't install a windshield on a 1982 why should anyone trust you with a car with sensors that need recalibrated. Safelite is a joke don't waste your time or money, plenty of local businesses willing to work with I'm just frustrated I didn't take my own advice.

Safelite came to the house to replace a busted car window. The tech was spot on. He kept me updated on the arrival time. He was done with the job, including removal of the broken glass, in about 1 1/2 hours. Great service and highly recommend Safelite.

Edward the technician went above and beyond. I broke the rear window while replacing the hatchback struts. Not only did he repair the window, he also replaced the struts (I had the parts in the trunk due to being mid job when I broke it) without me asking. Totally unexpected but such a fantastic display of customer service and pride in his work. He also vacuumed out the trunk, rear seats and child seats. I was expecting to have all these things to do when I got off work but he stepped up and took care of everything. I have had 3 different technicians from West Sac location and he is the star.
Their website had an error during booking and never scheduled the appointment yet it charged me for the service. I had to manually schedule after with multiple tries to do so. Then I was told by all their emails that I had an outstanding balance despite being charged. I called and after going through an IVR call try I got to an AI assistant and finally a human. The human was terrible and less helpful than the AI. I clearly stated my concern and feedback that if the pending charge is expected then why say I have a balance? They just kept repeating the exact the worded response that felt like they were reading a script. Overall, their phone support is the worst. I gave 2 stars only because the tech themselves performs the job as expected.
