My experience at Enterprise started off very disappointing, but thankfully ended on a much better note.
When I initially spoke with Sydney, I was told the deposit would be $100. However, when I arrived at the branch, Hannah, who identified herself as the branch manager, told me the deposit was $200.
My mother-in-law had given me her card because the insurance is under her name. In front of other customers, Hannah pointed out, “This card isn’t in your name.” I explained that it belonged to my mother-in-law, but instead of professionally explaining the policy, her response and tone came across as rude and condescending. She then told me, “You can use a debit card if you have one.” I found the “if you have one” comment unnecessary and disrespectful.
I chose not to argue. I left, collected myself, and returned with my debit card. When I came back, Hannah clearly saw me but did not acknowledge me. I stood waiting while customers who arrived after me were assisted, and I was not acknowledged until I finally spoke up.
Thankfully, Evan stepped in and completely changed my experience. He was professional, respectful, patient, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. Evan demonstrated exactly how a customer should be treated, and I truly appreciate the service he provided.
I also want to recognize Griffin, who assisted me when I returned the vehicle. He made the checkout process fast, easy, and stress-free.
Thank you, Evan and Griffin, for your excellent customer service. Unfortunately, my interaction with Hannah was the complete opposite. As a branch manager, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, respect, and customer service.
