  Had a good experience buying a certified used car from Kirby Subaru of Ventura. Kevin McDonnagh was our sales person. What a relief to work with someone who has a pleasant and kind demeanor. The price for the car was great and the customer service was wonderful. I've bought used cars in the past from other dealers and this was, hands down, the best experience. I would come back her again. Even after the purchase, he walked my daughter through all the electronics, bells, and whistles on the car so she'd feel comfortable and knowledgeable about her vehicle. Valerie Hurt did our paperwork - such a joyful personality and extremely thorough! I'd highly recommend Kirby Subaru of Ventura.

  I had in a great experience with Kirby Subaru. The service was excellent, and the staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Everyone I interacted with made the process easy and pleasant, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. I really appreciate the personal attention and quality of service. I would definitely recommend Kirby Subaru to anyone looking for a professional and pleasant experience!

  I had a wonderful experience with my recent service at Kirby Subaru. Sam took great care of me from start to finish. He kept me informed about everything that needed to be done, and he was kind, professional, and respectful of my time. I especially appreciated having the option to wait or leave my number and go about my day. Since I live in the Valley and the dealership is in Ventura, they even offered a rental if I needed one. I also loved receiving a video of the inspection—it was like being right there with the technician and seeing exactly what they were looking at. The service was completed much sooner than I expected, which gave me the perfect opportunity to have Brunch with my sister, who lives nearby. I usually try to coordinate a breakfast or lunch with her whenever I have to bring my car in, and it always works out beautifully. Thank you, Sam, and the entire Kirby Subaru team, for making car service so easy, efficient, and pleasant. I truly appreciate the excellent customer service.

  I started hearing a low pulsing hum in my 2024 Subaru Ascent. I would hear it when I was driving 35 MPH or more. It seemed like it was getting worse over the course of a few days. I became very worried and was hoping that it wasn’t something serious. I emailed Gabby Hernandez, who I’ve been working with for a couple years now, and she responded right away, comforted me and helped me feel like everything was going to be okay. We scheduled an appointment to get a diagnosis. When I arrived at the service center, she was prepared and already had an idea of what it could be based on my description. She got me loaner car and said she’d be in contact shortly. It turned out to be two bad rear wheel bearings and she arranged for them to get replaced. The repair only took a couple hours or so, and thankfully, the cost was covered under warranty. I was so relieved and thankful. Gabby Hernandez is truly top-notch. She is experienced and knowledgeable and always takes really good care of me. Throughout all of my regular maintenance services, and choosing new tires and getting alignments, she’s always been super solid and on top of things. Her expertise and guidance have been extremely valuable, especially because my Subaru is very important to me for work and family. Of course I should acknowledge the whole Kirby Subaru service center as providing excellent work and service. To me, Gabby is like family and I value and appreciate her so much.

  I could not love or trust Kirby Subaru more as a place to buy and service my most trusted vehicles. Jim has helped me get into two Subarus from this location over the last three years, and he has created an incredible sense of trust and friendliness that reminds me of my Midwest roots. I truly never want to buy a car from anyone else! The warranty and service packages, paired with incredible financing, make the huge financial decision of buying a car feel like a no-brainer here. It can be scary to move somewhere new and make such a big purchase when you aren’t sure who to trust, but Kirby’s reputation speaks for itself. My experiences with both their sales and service teams have been incredible, transparent, and financially prudent. As someone who commutes A LOT and really depends on my vehicle, there is nowhere else I’ll buy my cars from now on. I’m incredibly grateful to Jim and the entire Kirby Subaru team for giving me a dealership I genuinely trust!
