My experience was great here, my sales guy Bob Thacker was awesome and was very informative and even put the car colors next to each other that I was debating on to help me make the perfect decision on the color. Thanks to my dad for also coming to support my first big purchase!
On arrival into the service office after I checked in, I had to wait 15 minutes before my service advisor. Afterwards, the process to install my rearview mirror was smooth. The personnel were courteous and very helpful. I was given a courtesy loaner car which was clean and had an almost full tank of gas. There was an extensive outside inspection done with photos taken of any imperfection. I was not given an explanation of how to operate the Forester but I found the controls were similar to my Crosstrek with a few differences. My estimated time was originally 4 hours to complete the mirror installation, however it was completed in 2.5 hrs and I was impressed with the quality of work and efficiency. I took advantage of paying for the labor online that made my checking out a breeze. I stopped by to say hello to my salesperson on my way out. This was a delightful first service visit. The mirror works flawlessly. Thank you, Mirby Subaru.
Exceptional fantastic Outback Wilderness buying experience at Kirby Subaru of Ventura with Bobby Campbell, Michael Greenslit, and Val Hurt. Make an appointment with Bobby for all your Subaru buying needs. Highly recommend. Tell all your friends and relatives. You can thank me later.

I had very positive experience for our 2025 Outback 15,000 mile service. My service advisor, Gaby Hernandez, had me checked in upon arrival and informed me of the wait time. Then showed me to the lounge. I received a video and hard copy of the service performed. Upon completion Gaby informed me my Outback was ready and the engine air filter needed replaced. She also helped me purchase a new engine air filter and installed it. All of the Kirby staff was nice and very helpful. The new dealership is quite nice.
Thank you for the smooth service experience.

I am grateful for the eventual financial assistance/help, however, did not appreciate the reneging of the original financial arrangement which included so much more of a realistic resolution. My car was never neglected, I am the original owner, and I believe Subaru was aware of the emissions issue and in lieu of a recall, decided that 80,000 miles (of which my car is under mileage for its year) was the magic number. I brought my car in at 84,000. Sadly disappointed as a new car owner for the following reasons:
• New car tires lasted less than 25,000
• Window switch broken within the first 2 years
• Subaru does not automatically accept new car oil change at any Subaru (poor customer service)
• broken interior plastic parts
• smoking exhaust pipe (is this normal for all cars?)
• cooling fans did do not get cold past the first two years
