    Putting one star because it’s the lowest I could put. NEVER EVER EVER bring your car to get serviced here, they charged me for the “free” inspection. Went in for a new battery knowing it will fix the service lights that came on and I mentioned that to Mario and he charged me $250 for just that. They got reset with the battery replacement. He asked me so many times what I need so he can twist it into more things he can add to the tab. Not only that, I waited 10 hours for a battery change!! I should’ve done it myself. Way cheaper, faster and wouldn’t have gotten ripped off by this dealership. Basically paid $550 for a battery change What’s so crazy is the whole time I was in the waiting room Mario was dealing with endless phone calls of unsatisfied customers. Even after reading the reviews on the service the department I am not the only one that was charged double for the same service. There is something bigger going on behind the scenes, their predatory pricing tactics need to be investigated! It literally says on my receipt for the second line item “see item one” I was telling Mario that and he didn’t care, ended up paying $550 for a new battery.

    Absolute worst experience with the service department. I brought in my brand-new 2026 Chevrolet Suburban, which I use for premium commercial transportation services. The vehicle has a severe factory defect: the automatic emergency braking system randomly engages on its own when I turn the steering wheel. This is an incredibly dangerous safety hazard for both me and my passengers. I was assisted by service advisor Gurgen Melkonyan and supervisor Lalo. Instead of taking a major safety issue seriously, they completely refused to accept the vehicle for diagnosis or honor the manufacturer's warranty. They showed zero willingness to help, ignored the urgency of a malfunctioning braking system, and left me driving a hazardous vehicle. An official dealer refusing to inspect a dangerous brake failure on a brand-new vehicle under warranty is unacceptable. I have already filed an official complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). Avoid this service department if you value your time and safety.

    Came to Chevy Van Nuys for my first service for my 2026 Trailblazer Activ. Service advisor Mario Morales was AMAZING. I've been a GM customer for over 10 years and can whole-heartedly say that he has been the BEST person to work with and extremely knowledgeable of the Chevy vehicles and diagnosing issues. Not only was he outstanding in making sure that my concerns were addressed by pushing updates for my car, but also was attentive in ensuring that all of my potential issues that could come up were resolved. This was actually my second time coming to him directly as he helped me last time with my Blazer EV and pushed any hidden updates and resolved my issues. I can easily say that he is the only person I would trust my vehicle service issues with. Mario easily deserves a service advisor award!!!

    The Lord took me to this place genuinely, all i wanted to do was to get my Camaro checked because of maintenance and then I met Felipe the most outstanding and helpful person I've met that day. He walked me around the whole place saying " welcome to my home " and that hits a lot because imagine a person welcoming you to his house open arms. long story short, I've trade my Camaro to a brand new car with Felipe's help I was able to see things differently and purposely. I'd describe this place as "warmth" all the deals that was presented to me was all good until they met my expectations and what I could do. Felipe and his team did everything in their power to help me get this car. financially or just even into my likings. I'd say please go look for Felipe when you come here, he will whole heartedly help you out, not just because he sells car but because he cares about what can be good for you and he was just an instrument of God to help me out. and for all the staff in VAN NUYS CHEVROLET! I salute you all from all working hard, I hope everyday brings you wins as long as you're grateful and thank the Lord you're able to do this job, you are blessed!
