  They lie intentionally, or are unaware of the products they sell. We love our trailer with one major exception. We were in search of a trailer that could operate off grid. Meaning, if we did not have power hookups could we run our trailer sufficiently without plugging in. Boondocking. We were told multiple times "yes." We were even told directly we would not need a generator. What they neglected to tell us is that the inverter needed to allow us to use our solar and batteries to run our plugged items (microwave, tv, wall outlets, etc) was not actually present on our trailer. It is pre wired to accept one, but... It is not currently installed. They even went as far to talk about how our outside fridge would kick on as we drove on our way to the campsite, so we could "put beers in them so they will be ready when you get there.". Without an inverter this is not possible as the outside fridge will not run. So either they did not know we had no inverter, or they were lying about it. Now, when talking to the sales manager we proposed that either the employees are lying, or they are ignorant about what they are selling. He would not comment on that. When texting with our actual sales guy, Jonathan B, his response was to not comment on what he told us verbally, but to text "The trailer is designed to operate as intended."

  My husband just drove 8 hours to camping World, Vacaville, to see a used RV we had negotiated on all week. He left at 3am and got there at 11am... only to find out the owners of the RV (was on consignment) picked the RV up on Saturday. ALL WEEK my husband talked to the finance dept and sales people and nobody bothered to tell the owners of the RV that he was coming to look at it today, MONDAY. WTH... 8 hours my husband drove, only to have them say it was not there and then the sales people turned to go get themselves coffee. I told my husband to leave because I do not trust them and nobody gave a crap at Camping World, Vacaville, all that he had gone through during the week to prepare to see it today. You guys SUCK!

  If you are looking to purchase a RV, don't go here. We were going on vacation to Arkansas, taking my mother to see her son and sister and needed a RV right away. My vacation was starting in three weeks. We were told no problem, it was coming from another dealership and would be there the next day to do a walk through. Not that day not even that week. They kept giving us excuses. After losing one week of vacation while waiting, we told them we needed to get my mother back there so If they could just do the important stuff for a 2K mile drive we would bring it back for the other stuff to be done. When we went to pick it up, they hadn't done anything to it. (No rearview mirror/camera, the sunroof visor still hanging down, no new tires and no license plates. ) We made it to a New Mexico Hospital and they had to fly my mother to a Texas Hospital where she passed away two days later. We had to have her body flown back to California. I wasn't able to attend her funeral. This was very traumatizing. I was on medical leave 6 months. We had an engine light come on and had to leave the RV for two days at a Ford dealership in Arkansas and had to get tires in Texas on our way back home. The tires had metal showing. Could have been a very dangerous situation. After this trip we took it back to the Dealership to do the things they were supposed to do. They have had our RV for over one year now and haven't touched it. They are supposed to be fixing stuff that was supposed to be done when we purchased it. It has sat with webs and spiders in it for a whole year now. Not exaggerating! They don't return calls or emails. We have been paying insurance, registration and extended warranty while it sits. We have spoke with Corporate several times. I'm still waiting for an email with the work order from our meeting we had on June 9th. This is ridiculous! Signed, Not a happy customer.

  I want to start by saying this is THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. It’s not just me, either—I have spoken with multiple people, including family members, who have had similar experiences. To begin, I dropped off my trailer, which is still under warranty, on March 25 to have the refrigerator repaired because it was not working. I am just now picking it up on June 18—almost three months later! My boyfriend and I called weekly for updates. Initially, we were told that because the refrigerator was under warranty, they would simply replace it with a brand-new unit. Great! However, after that, the information we received became inconsistent. We were repeatedly told the refrigerator had been approved, ordered, and would arrive soon. Then, during a later call, we were told they were still waiting for the warranty company to approve the replacement, despite previously being told it had already been approved and ordered. This cycle continued for weeks. We had to call every time because they constantly said they would call us back but never did. At one point, when we expressed concerns about an employee we had been dealing with, another worker told us he had been fired. That turned out to be untrue because the same employee answered the phone the following week. After getting nowhere with this location, we contacted corporate. It seemed that only after involving corporate did things finally begin moving forward, although still very slowly. Should it really take escalating the issue to corporate to get results? When we picked up the trailer, we politely asked if there was anything they could do to compensate us, such as a gift certificate to the parts department, since we had been forced to cancel multiple trips while waiting for repairs. Instead of addressing our concerns, they became upset that we even asked. When we pointed out that they had our trailer for nearly three months as that is a very long time to not have our trailer, they threatened to trespass us from the property. That response was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. We will never do business here again, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before trusting this location with their RV or trailer.

  We bought our new trailer last year and the sales process was pretty good. But service? Forget it. On our last trip in April the toilet stopped working - no pressure and wouldn’t flush. We took it right into Camping World when we got home and also asked them to check on the door that was hard to open. And this began the waiting and gaslighting. First they told us the door needed to be “level” or it wouldn’t work - as if you’re always 100% level when camping. They claimed it was fixed when it wasn’t - had to pressure them to keep working on it. But the toilet - that’s the most frustrating part. Still waiting to have it fixed. Now they’re going back and forth with the warranty people. They say they’ll call when they don’t. We live close so we just go in there because it’s the only way to get anyone’s attention. So disappointed- we’ve had this trailer for such a short time and now it’s been at Camping World for two months for us to have to push and prod to get anything done. We recently extended our warranty but we won’t bring it back here for any work in the future. They were great at taking our money but clearly they aren’t interested in residual sales.
