I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Safelite. I scheduled a 7:00 AM appointment for a front windshield replacement, and the confirmation email stated the estimated completion time would typically be around one hour. While I understand estimates can vary, when I arrived at the shop I was told it would actually take around three hours. Six hours later, I still had not received a single phone call or update regarding my vehicle. What made the situation even more frustrating was that my card had already been charged three hours into the service, which led me to believe the work may have already been completed. I eventually had to take it upon myself to physically return to the shop to check on the status of my car. When I arrived, I was told the vehicle had been ready “for a while.” I then asked why nobody had called me, and the response I received was incredibly unprofessional. A female employee never once looked up from texting on her cell phone while speaking to me and casually stated that the technician had left, so nobody called. On top of that, I was then accused of not being the same person who dropped the vehicle off simply because I was no longer wearing a hat. The complete lack of communication, professionalism, and customer service throughout this experience was unacceptable. Delays happen, but ignoring customers, failing to provide updates, and treating them disrespectfully when they ask reasonable questions is not okay.

Absolute garbage customer service. It shouldn't be a nightmare to simply call the local shop where I dropped my car and find out when it will be completed. Instead, I had to go through 45 minutes of press 1 for this, 2 for that and finally ended up with an AI assistant. After navigating that for another 10 minutes, I got a live person who was working from their house, not the shop. She couldn't tell me when the windshield would be completed . Very frustrating. There was a nice young lady in the office when I dropped the car off. I'm sure she would have been more than capable of answering the phone, walking in the back and simply asking the tech how much longer it would be . But instead, Safelite uses AI and remote workers who can't answer a simple question. If I ever have another broken windshield , I will take it to a small business who actually answers their phone when a customer has a question.

A rock hit my windshield recently, and I had it repaired through insurance at Safelite. The technician did an incredibly neat and precise job, you can't even tell there was any damage. Super happy with the result and would definitely recommend!

They fixed and repaired my glass instantly. I understand the wait takes a couple of hours but honestly if you want things to be done right you need to be patient. Just have some snacks and digital equipment to keep you company and you’re all set. Unfortunately things happen but safety is a priority. They were able to clean up all the broken glass after my car was vandalized and I really appreciated that.
