This place is a great alternative to the ridiculous amount of money that they charge for simple things on your German car by any dealer service center. The Porsche dealer charges $550 for an oil and filter change. The German Auto Doctor charged me $223 and did a great job. I have taken both my cars there for over a year and their prices and quality of work is great. Dave, the owner and the other Dave, the owner’s son are knowledgeable and care about their customers. The other technicians at this place are just as good since Dave sets the example and expects quality work. If you need other services like detailing, body shops work, etc. just ask them and they will give you referrals for other quality contacts. Last but not least, ask for even better pricing on major mechanical work on your vehicle. I do and Dave has always listened and gave me better pricing than their already fair prices if he can. I expect the service quality to stay at the high quality level moving forward. I am a blunt man and will follow up with new reviews if anything changes. I don’t expect the need for any follow up review but will do so if the need arises. Feel comfortable and take your car to The German Auto Doctor for great service.

Very pleased with how we were treated by Emillo. The work on our Sprinter van was done in a timely manner and he even called a few days later to see if we were happy with his work. We would highly recommend The German Auto Doctor.

Frequently Asked Questions About The German Auto Doctor
What German car brands do you service?
We specialize in servicing all major German and European luxury vehicles, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen (VW), MINI, Land Rover, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, Aston Martin, and Maserati. Our technicians possess the expertise and factory-level diagnostic equipment required to properly maintain and repair these vehicles.
Are you a dealership alternative?
Yes, we are. We deliver dealership-quality service at more competitive pricing than traditional dealerships. Our certified technicians utilize OEM or high-quality replacement parts along with advanced diagnostic tools to complete maintenance and repairs that meet manufacturer standards.
Do you use OEM parts for repairs?
Yes. We utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts whenever available, or premium aftermarket parts that meet or exceed factory specifications, based on your preferences and budget requirements.
Can you perform factory-scheduled maintenance without voiding my warranty?
Yes, we can. Federal law permits you to have your vehicle serviced at an independent repair facility without voiding your factory warranty, provided the maintenance adheres to the manufacturer's recommended schedule and appropriate parts and fluids are used.
Do you offer computer diagnostics for check engine lights?
Yes, we do. We utilize professional factory-level diagnostic equipment to accurately identify issues related to check engine lights, warning messages, electrical problems, engine performance concerns, transmission faults, and other vehicle issues.
What types of repairs do you perform?
We handle a full range of services, from routine oil changes and brake service to engine diagnostics, suspension repairs, transmission service, cooling system repairs, air conditioning, electrical diagnostics, steering, timing components, performance maintenance, and comprehensive engine repairs.
How often should I service my German vehicle?
Most German vehicles require maintenance every 5,000 to 10,000 miles, depending on the manufacturer's specifications and your driving conditions. Adhering to the recommended maintenance schedule helps avoid costly repairs and prolongs the life of your vehicle.
Why are German vehicles different from other cars?
German luxury vehicles are designed with advanced technology, specialized components, and precision-engineered performance systems. They require specialized expertise, factory diagnostic equipment, and technicians who are knowledgeable about the distinctive engineering of European automobiles.
Do you provide a warranty on your repairs?
Yes, we do. We stand behind the quality of our work and provide warranties on many parts and labor services. Warranty coverage varies depending on the specific repair, and our team will review the details with you before any work is performed.
How do I know if my German vehicle needs immediate service?
If you observe warning lights, unusual noises, fluid leaks, declining performance, rough shifting, vibrations, overheating, or changes in braking or steering response, it is advisable to have your vehicle inspected promptly. Early diagnosis and repair can help prevent more expensive repairs down the road.
