The service rep handling repairs to my car was unprofessional and completely dropped the ball in dealing with my insurance company. I will NEVER take my car to Simi Toyota again. The service rep ignored damage to my car that was part of the insurance claim. The damage was obvious to see. I advised them about the damage over the phone and in writing via email. They knew what the damage was and knew it was supposed part of the claim. Somehow, they failed to address the damage with the claims adjuster. The claims adjuster inspected the vehicle but never made a determination on whether insurance would cover the damage. When the service rep let me know my car was repaired and ready for pickup I had to ask him about the damage that wasn't part of the estimate. He was evasive and would not give me a straight answer. When I pushed back, he finally admitted he never got an answer from the adjuster as to whether insurance would cover the damage. How? How do you mention the damage to the adjuster but not get a 'Yes' or 'No' as to whether insurance will pay for it??? It boggles the mind. End result: the adjuster had to inspect the car a second time. It took them a week to get back over to Simi Toyota to inspect it. They ended up approving the repair which will cost over $3200. If the service rep had done their job all repairs would have been approved on the first inspection. I could have had my car back a week earlier. Instead, I had to wait an extra week and spend more money on a rental car. I never should have needed the rental for that extra week. Service reps are supposed to represent the customer when it comes to repairs for damages covered by insurance. It felt like the service rep was helping the insurance company instead of helping me get my car repaired and helping his employer Simi Toyota make $3200+. Even worse, the service rep was unapologetic and showed absolutely no signs of remorse. It was like they didn't care about what happened and didn't think they did anything wrong. It reminded me of a child standing next to a broken lamp who refuses to admit they broke it. That type of attitude is completely unprofessional. End result: I'm taking my car to TO Toyota and they're going to make $3200+ doing the repairs that insurance paid for. I will never take my car to Simi Toyota again. The only other member of my household with a Toyota was appalled by the service I received. They were a customer at Simi Toyota but not anymore. They're going to take their new Corolla to TO Toyota instead. UPDATE: TO Toyota inspected my vehicle again because it was obvious that Simi Toyota failed miserably. TO Toyota caught two additional repairs that need to be done. Insurance is covering those repairs (about $1000). Simi Toyota is the worst.

My first experience with them was ordering a rear cargo cover. I found it online for $190, but another local Toyota dealer quoted me over $300 by phone. I found it through Simi Valley Toyota for about $170 after discounts and called to confirm stock. They were kind and upfront that they'd need to order it, and told me ordering online is the better deal because of the discounts. Nobody tried to upsell me. More recently a fault light came up on the car. The other dealer told me to go back to my selling dealer because they'd charge a diagnostic fee, even though the car is new and under warranty. I called Simi Valley and spoke with Robert Hudson, who could not have been kinder. He had me bring the car in and asked shop foreman Danny to look at it right away. They diagnosed it, handled the issue, and cleared the code without any runaround. That's exemplary customer service. To Simi Valley management: please recognize your Parts and Service teams, especially Robert and Danny, for treating customers with kindness and respect. I'll be bringing my car here for years to come.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience, and I cannot say enough great things about this team! From the moment we arrived, Carlos Lopez went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and well taken care of. Carlos was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure we understood everything without ever making us feel pressured. It was clear that he genuinely cared about providing us with the best experience possible. I also want to give a huge thank you to Floor Manager Rigo Ramirez. Rigo was extremely professional, helpful, and attentive. He made sure everything went smoothly and stepped in whenever needed to make the process as easy and stress free as possible. His leadership and customer service truly stood out. Finally, C. Matt Morente, who handled our paperwork, was fantastic! He was organized, patient, and thorough, taking the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we understood all the documents before signing. He made what can sometimes be the most overwhelming part of the car buying process feel simple and comfortable. Carlos, Rigo, and Matt: hank you for going above and beyond! Your professionalism, kindness, and dedication to customer service made such a positive impression on us. We never felt like just another customer; we felt genuinely valued and taken care of. This was one of the best car buying experiences we have had, and it was truly because of the incredible team. If you are looking for a dealership that treats its customers with respect, honesty, and exceptional service, I highly recommend asking for Carlos Lopez and his team! Thank you again, Carlos, Rigo, and Matt, for making our experience such a memorable one!

I recently purchased a Toyota RAV4 XLE Hybrid in the popular Storm Cloud color from Toyota of Simi Valley, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. JB and Rodrigo were highly professional, transparent, and respectful throughout the entire process. They maintained regular communication, ensuring I was kept informed every step of the way and making the transaction completely seamless. They truly went above and beyond to earn my business. After the purchase was finalized, Rodrigo took the extra time to help me sync my phone to the vehicle's system so I was fully prepared to drive off the lot. If you are looking for a straightforward, high quality car buying experience, I strongly recommend working with JB and Rodrigo at Toyota of Simi Valley.

READ THE FINE PRINT - BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a 2027 Corolla Hatchback about 3 weeks ago. The experience was great all throughout the in person dealership exchanges with Felix and Mario. Come to find out today that I was bait and switched! All throughout discussions with Felix, before ever meeting in person, 12k miles a year was our plan. 10k was okay, but 12k was ideal for our situation. When I logged into my financial dashboard today to set up my account and payments, it shows that we only have 7500 miles a year which is completely unacceptable. As a daily commuter car, I never would have agreed to it. We love the car, and it was a pleasant experience at the time, but this sours everything. Looking at this car makes me sick, there is no world where I would have agreed to this deal, and I feel cheated. This is not buyer's remorse, this is unacceptably wrong on all fronts. After signing documents in person I was contacted the next day to resign them because they had the incorrect sales region in the original contracts. My payment went up 1$ (which is a non issue) but also just another hiccup in the process, and I think where the switch was made. I was then pressured to sign the documents as soon as possible. I also have yet to receive my contracts via email. I was given the paper copies at signing, but when trying to figure this out, it makes it difficult only having the single copy. At this point, I have contacted the store, spoken to someone in finance about the issue, but have yet to hear from Felix despite the urgency.
