  I have a 2011 Honda Odyssey with over 150k miles. When driving over long distances it started to exhibit almost violent shuddering between 25-50mph. I suspected 3rd gear (transmission) was gone and I was in need of a thorough transmission rebuild, updated valve body pressure switches etc. C&M did a thorough diagnosis and arrived at the same conclusion. Along the way they found the engine mounts needed to be replaced .. which was also done. I do seek out shops with extensive experience and qualified staff, C&M had them. (I was also a mechanic long ago!) the work was excellent and the car runs like it’s supposed to (and it is 15 years old so it’s elderly!) I highly recommend C&M Auto & Transmission in Simi Valley, Ca .. PS I look for excellent work and a company that stands by their work, not necessarily the lowest cost. The service quality is key to future sanity!

  Great, fast service! These guys have always gone above and beyond for my car. They actually communicate well, calling you frequently with updates and explaining why certain services are required rather than just pressuring you. I really appreciate their online estimate portal too! I've used their services for dead batteries, rotors, breaks, general maintenance and more. Definitely my first stop for all my vehicle needs.

  Really appreciated Sean who was very understanding, informative and professional regarding my air conditioning. I had been misled and “taken” with a previous shop so I was gun shy. Sean explained in detail the process they go through to get to identify and fix the problem economically! Their shop is clean with mechanics looking professional and competent! I’ll be back for sure. Nice to find a shop I can trust!

  Brought my cars here before but I am very unsatisfied with how they tried do rip me off with service. My car has under 13k miles and they tried to tell me I needed new coolant and wanted to do a drain. Right away another worker stopped him and told him my car only has 12k miles on it. I have never had issues here before, but its very obvious they are trained to rip people off. As the workers walked away to talk in private, I could hear and understand their mutters. As workers friend hang out cursing left and right. Looks more like hang out instead of a business After telling them they wanted to rip me off they avoided any conversation and added service from the oil change.
