  Lloyd’s has been a Santa Cruz institution for many years. Before the Mid-Town location was available, I always went to the Santa Cruz location on River Street. Lloyd’s knows tires. I don’t. It’s wonderful to be able to trust their recommendations and feel confident in their work. Thanks Lloyd’s!!!

  The telephone number connected me to an offshore operator who made an appointment that was completely wrong. When I arrived, I was told the operator has absolutely no idea of the location's actual schedule. It's a major disconnect! The dumbest "system" I've ever encountered.

  : Predatory Sales Tactics, Gender Bias, and Safety Violation at Store #1671 (Scotts Valley)To Corporate Management,I am writing to formally report an unacceptable and discriminatory experience at your Lloyd’s Mid-Town Tires location in Scotts Valley (5310 Unit D Scotts Valley Drive).I had an official appointment confirmation sent via text message to my phone. Upon arrival, a male technician intercepted me completely outside in the parking lot. He refused to bring my 2023 Toyota Highlander into a service bay, took zero notes, and flatly refused to look for the slow leak I came in to fix. Instead, he visually judged the outer shoulder edges of my tires, declared the tire unrepairable, and immediately launched into an aggressive sales pitch to pressure me into purchasing a brand-new set of tires.Worse yet, he sent me away—a female customer—to drive on a dangerously flat tire with a known nail puncture without even offering the basic courtesy of filling it with air. He clearly targeted me for a high-dollar upsell because he assumed I would be an easy target.Later that same day, my husband took the EXACT same vehicle with the EXACT same tires to your sister location, Lloyd’s Tire & Auto Care in Santa Cruz (311 Capitola Road Extension). Your Santa Cruz technicians acted professionally, brought the car inside, immediately located the nail in the deep center tread, and safely patched it with no issues.I have the text confirmation of my Scotts Valley appointment and the physical repair receipt from your Santa Cruz location proving the tire was perfectly legal and safe to repair. The Scotts Valley technician lied to me, bypassed standard inspection protocols, and left me stranded with an unsafe vehicle.I expect this matter to be reviewed with the regional district manager and the store manager at Scotts Valley. I look forward to your response regarding how you intend to correct this behavior.

  I've been meaning to do a review for this location. We are from Ohio and had a rental car that ended up with a screw in the tire. The staff here are seriously amazing. They were professional, communicative, and welcoming while we waited inside. Honestly, this bad experience with the tire ended up being one of our best experiences on vacation. Genuinely really good people work here and they really do go the extra mile in helping customers. We interacted with the staff inside as well as the assistant manager and if I were ever in the area again, this is where I would go without question. We were back on the road in no time and did not have any additional issues!

  Felipe was amazing! A+ customer service, and supportive. Helped me check my Porsche's new tires in a blink of an eye as I called on my commute home with a concern from a screw I saw at end of day. He was welcoming and assured me he would help me for peace of mind. All was well and his patience was beyond kind and generous. Lloyd's is always a step above and beyond ready to help. Thank-you!
