  OK! The best young gentleman in the company resides here in santee! Dawson, the manager has been a life saver, a joy, and so kind to me! Every single one of his employees will tell you the same! He has a bright future in front of him! What a catch!

  AutoZone in Santee has very poor customer service. My Car’s battery was dead and it was confirmed by Toyota and O’Reilly that the battery is not good anymore. I purchased the battery from AutoZone two years ago. However, the battery was under warranty For three years. They wouldn’t change the battery and they were telling me that battery is fine. I showed them the prove the Toyota and Orally confirmed that the battery was bad but they did not accept that. I had been waiting so long there before They exchanged the battery . I don’t recommend this place for anybody to go Because didn’t respect their customer at all.

  I’ve come to this AutoZone location multiple times for help installing or tightening my license plate, and the employees have always been willing to help without any issues. Unfortunately, my experience today was completely different. The issue was never about buying a part or not being able to afford one. If I needed to purchase something, I would have. The confusing part is that every other time I’ve come to this location, an employee has simply helped me screw my license plate back on without requiring me to buy anything. That’s why I expected the same level of customer service today. Instead, the employee I spoke with, Maya, was dismissive and repeatedly told me, “Go buy one if you want it that bad.” When I tried explaining that I was only asking for the same help I’ve received here before, she accused me of being rude instead of listening. She also repeatedly told me, “You can get out,” speaking to me as if she owned the business, which I found extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I completely understand if policies have changed, but there is a respectful way to communicate that to a customer. This experience was disappointing because it was inconsistent with every previous visit I’ve had to this AutoZone. I hope management addresses how customers are spoken to so others don’t have a similar experience! There was also an elderly man who she refused to help find what he was looking for.
