- JJJames Balderas Jr.May 13, 20261.0I've used Safelite here in SLO Cnty before and they we're great. This 2nd time started out poorly with Safelite canceling twice . The tech told me in advance that plastic trim and cowling may get broken and they did, one over each door and the cowling. AAA won't cover it and Safelite won't either, they're in a partnership so they by default are a preferred shop. They threw the parts away so no way to piece it back together . I would've used a dedicated glass shop if I knew how the service would turn out. Their techs are kids probably sent to a week long training and high pressure scheduling. So, no, I won't use them again and not able to recommend them (Safelite) to anyone. The price I paid? I don't know because Im still paying, another 500 for parts and paint at least. The tech , though, was friendly even after a long struggle with the job. So shout out to him. No photos, sorry.

I brought out my car vacuum and he did the best he could but I had many glass chards in the driveway and in my car after he left. No worries, he was on time, communicated well and got the job done with a smile!

Besides a brand new windshield, he ensured all the other features of the car were still in good order: cameras, sensors, air bags, etc. He really knew BMWs and what to look out for. Plus, he was a friendly guy who really seemed to enjoy his work and wanted it to be the best. I will definitely call Safelite again!
