IF YOU ARE 21 DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! Terrible experience. We rentada a van through Kayak, very cheap, and got called that it was "overbooked" (they didn't want us to have it that cheap). Told us they would call us to confirm, and not only didn't call us back, but didn't pick up the phone. Called again through another number to find out the van was actually free for a higher price, decided to make the reservation and got the email confirmation that moment. We asked to the employee throguh the phone if there was any problem with us being 21 and CLEARLY SAID NO. Went the next day to pick it up and got told that we couldn't rent it us 21 years old. It is an understandable policy but it could be said explicitly in the Web and on the phone. We weren't offered anything similar or any type of compensation. Never coming back.

Got rear ended so was just expecting a basic rental experience but I was very surprised by the level of customer service. The location was extra busy but Julio was fast, knowledgeable, efficient, and gave everyone personal attention and service. It still took time to get the car ready but instead of a hurried dismissive experience I came away feeling taken care of. The person who showed me the care was excellent as well. Great service all around.

They called me morning of my pick up and asked me to come late because the person dropping off the truck I was renting was coming late. I walked half an hour to the office (expecting to be picking up the truck and driving home in it) only to find out they extended the other person’s rental leaving me without what I needed. They did not offer comparable alternatives, and even had the audacity to say they tried to reach out to me to tell me they didn’t have the truck available anymore. (they did not) I had to walk another half an hour home, and scrambled to find an alternative on short notice.

Customer service has gone down hill through out the years. People just do not care. All they want is that paycheck. But Kaitlyn over here in Santa Cruz is the type of person that customer service needs, to come back the way it was. She is kind, listens, helps, understanding and smiles. Thank you Kaitlyn for keeping customer service alive. It is only people like you that will keep me returning.
