  I am beyond disappointed and concerned for my safety after my experience at this Jiffy Lube location (2795 El Camino Real, Santa Clara). I came in for a simple tire rotation, but the technicians ended up cross-threading two wheel studs on my left rear wheel using an impact wrench. Most disturbingly, the staff admitted to me later that they noticed the "defect" during installation but decided to force the lug nuts on anyway without informing me. They allowed me to drive away with a wheel that was not fully secured to the vehicle, creating a life-threatening hazard. The issue was only discovered when I took my car to an independent specialist for a different matter (report photo attached). When I returned to Jiffy Lube to confront them, they snapped one of the damaged studs right in front of me while trying to remove it. Even after admitting they knew about the damage yesterday and failed to report it, they had the audacity to ask me to pay for part of the labor and the second damaged stud. They have kept my car overnight, leaving me without transportation and offering zero compensation for the Uber rides I’ve had to take due to their incompetence. Hiding mechanical damage and letting a customer drive an unsafe vehicle is a gross violation of trust and basic automotive safety standards. I have already contacted their corporate office and will be filing a formal complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair. If you value your safety and expect honest communication about your vehicle, I strongly recommend taking your car elsewhere.

  I recently visited Jiffy Lube and had a really great experience. The staff was friendly, professional, and got me in and out much faster than I expected. They explained everything clearly before doing any work, which made me feel comfortable and confident about the service. The oil change was done quickly, and they also did a full check of my fluids, tires, and filters without trying to push unnecessary services. I really appreciated how honest and straightforward they were. Overall, the service was efficient, affordable, and stress-free. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Jiffy Lube to others who want reliable car care without the long wait.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Jiffy Lube (2795 El Camino Real, Santa Clara). I came in for a simple full synthetic oil change, expecting a straightforward service similar to what I’ve paid before (~$70–100). Instead, I was presented with an estimate of nearly $250, which is completely unreasonable. The main issue is that additional services were added without clear explanation of the total cost upfront. I was charged for engine air filter ($34.99) and cabin air filter ($59.99), which are extremely overpriced parts that take only a couple of minutes to replace and cost far less elsewhere. This felt like a classic upsell situation where unnecessary services are pushed on the customer. There was no transparency about the final price before proceeding, and no real effort to explain that these add-ons would significantly increase the total. An oil change should not cost over $200 unless the customer explicitly agrees to premium services. I would strongly advise others to confirm the total price in advance and decline any add-ons unless absolutely necessary. Overall, I cannot recommend this location due to lack of transparency and aggressive upselling.
