  Filled the tank in Santa Barbara. Went to the airport (7 miles), which would have used less than a half gallon of gas (Honda Odyssey). The lot attendant for Enterprise /Alamo returns refused to inspect the fuel level, sending me inside to drop the key with the agent at the Alamo / Enterprise desk. Six hours later, a bill arrives with $102 in fuel charges added. Also, the receipt stated l that I had driven 273 miles. I rented the vehicle to go from LAX to SBA. These two locations are NOT 273 miles apart. This is not cool, and not in-line with experiences I have had on hundreds of other occasions when renting from Alamo or Enterprise over more than three decades. This is not the way to treat valuable, returning customers. Blatant grift and fraud.

  The Alamo rental station in Santa Barbara Airport was great. The car was clean and in great shape. It fit our needs to a tee.

  Very nice, helpful and professional staff at the airport counter. They were also fast. Very satisfied with the selection of luxury vehicles and the service when I picked the car up and when I returned it.
