Corey, the individual responsible for installing the locks at that location, exhibits a profound lack of professionalism, ethics, and courtesy. I strongly advise against engaging in any business dealings with him.

This place is awful… Hidden fees.. they will give you an extension. But never answer it or return your messages.. I’ve paid for my Device, had it installed, and then given a past due balance all before I even received the paper (DL-920) that I need to receive my License. It’s how cost me an additional $500 jumping through hoops with these people! They will also suggest going to a place that will LIE to you and tell you that you need to pay another $70 for recalibration only 5 days after getting it installed.. and if you call intoxalock back and talk to a different employee. They will tell you that’s a lie.. and it is not necessary.. I’m currently on the phone with them now, and they have no idea where my paper is. And everyday cost me money.. The guy in the phone with a heavy middle eastern accent continues to argue on the phone with me and then hung up on me. Because I called him out on a fee that I was never aware of. He then told me “it’s a valid a fee and you should have looked at your lease agreement”. I responded with “Im a customer asking a professional a question about something I’m unfamiliar with, why would I not trust the professional to give me the proper answer.” Met with more argument. And when I asked to do the survey at the end, that’s when he hung up on me. So on top of bad customer service all except the sales pitch where she was extremely nice as most salesmen are. Intoxalock (now that i got it updated) Will charge you $38 initially to get the ball rolling. They charge shipping fee of $40 for the device that you then pay $290 for. They charge you an additional amount for SHIPPING THE PAPER! (DL-920). If it’s THEIR fault YOU get charged.. they will also charge you another fee for like initiating/start up/ processing fees whatever you want to call it. And additional $30 for that. I understand the DUI is my fault. But why go somewhere that’s just going to make the process SO MUCH MORE DIFFICULT than it has to be. Just because they don’t care about you. UPDATE: 3/11: 10 months later and still holding strong on this ONE STAR REVIEW. I had a feeling that they were messing with me at one point. Because there is NO WAY they could be serious. So I recorded the calls. I called back. And a gentleman named DELWIN. I think he said FARTED while on the phone. He waited 3 MINUTES in silence. And when I pushed the record button. He repeated himself, and then hung up. After just a few seconds. So yes, they will put you on hold and leave you on hold, when they have all the time in the world. I called back 3 times. THE SAME GUY ANSWERED. Prior to that. I had 4 different people. INTOXALOCK WILL GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO LITERALLY MESS WITH YOU and THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR PAPERWORK AND LIE ABOUT SENDING IT. I now have all the proof of it. The mandatory actions unit said they had never received the paperwork. Intoxalock said they had sent it 3 times, to my home address and to the DMV. I have never received the copy either. Now my license is suspended, because they didn’t send the paperwork. And I followed all the steps as I should have. They also said they were transferring me to a supervisor and then put me on hold for 30 minutes. When I called back is when I was messed with.

Frequently Asked Questions About Intoxalock Ignition Interlock

How does an interlock device work?

An ignition interlock device (IID) is a small breathalyzer installed in your vehicle to prevent it from starting if alcohol is detected on your breath. Before driving, you'll blow into the device. If your breath alcohol concentration (BrAC) is below the programmed limit, the car starts. Periodic retests occur during your trip to ensure continued compliance. What is the cost of an ignition interlock device?
