  I had a really great experience with Alamo. During the holiday weekend, the waiting line wasn't too bad, and they tried their best to speed up the check-in process and assign the exact car I rented. The car was in great condition and very clean. The return process was also quick. Thank you for making the whole experience so efficient!

  Easy pickup and drop-off. The vehicle I rented was clean. When I dropped off my car Javier took good care of me. Highly recommend.

  Kings and queens. No other way to say it. Enterprise screwed me over. Alamo saved me twice. They had the car available I reserved when Enterprise didn’t warn me my reservation started when they’re closed. I forgot my Air Pods in my rental. Two hours later I notice, run down to Alamo. They found them and brought them to me. Stellar experience, Richard you’re a boss. I’ll never rent from anyone else.

  Discrimination! I booked a Standard Elite SUV through Costco Travel, but Alamo (John Wayne Airport location) refused to honor my reservation. After presenting my driver's license and credit card, the counter agent demanded additional proof of address in the form of a bank statement or credit card statement showing the same address as my license. I was surprised, as I've rented cars many times and have never been asked for such documents. When I questioned the requirement, the manager stated that they had experienced thefts involving their elite vehicles. I asked why this policy was not disclosed online or during the reservation process, but received no clear answer. I then requested a regular SUV and later a Tacoma pickup instead, but was told I still needed to provide the same documents. Meanwhile, I observed other white customers renting similar vehicles without being subjected to the same scrutiny or requirements. Based on my experience, I felt I was treated differently because I am an Asian male. The entire interaction was frustrating, humiliating, and unprofessional. Costco should reconsider recommending a vendor that treats customers this way. Don’t do business with Alamo!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Alamo. What started as a very stressful situation could have easily turned into a nightmare. I had lost my wallet and was having a very difficult time picking up our rental car, and we were worried our trip would be ruined. Veronica went above and beyond to help us. She showed incredible patience, kindness, and a willingness to help us during the entire process. She brought her manager and he also stepped in to assist, and he was equally outstanding. Together, they worked hard to find solutions and made everything possible to help us get on the road. Thanks to understanding and willingness to help, they turned a stressful situation into a positive experience. We couldn't be happier or more grateful for the exceptional customer service we received. Thank you, Veronica and the entire Alamo team, for truly caring about your customers and going the extra mile. We will never forget your kindness and support.
