  Bad experience purchasing a 2023 CPO XC40 Recharge from Volvo Marin. Our salesperson was wonderful to work with on the day that we purchased the car. Since purchase, hasn't been helpful in resolving our problems. We really love the car, but this experience has unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth and I want others to be able to see the way we've been treated by this dealership / service department. Below is the timeline I've put together in order to escalate this CPO warranty issue with Volvo Cars USA. Problem is shaking upon applying the brake. Most likely a warped rotor. There was a delay when we noticed it from purchase because regenerative braking doesn’t use the brakes. This is my wife’s car, and I wasn’t driving it. I took the car to Santa Clara late March, 1.5 months after purchase, and that’s when I noticed it. My wife subsequently noticed it too. Timeline • Purchased 2/15/2026 • Santa Clara trip was 3/30, first time problem was noticed • Began urging my wife to make appointment with dealer to solve along with two additional problems. Really didn't think this was going to turn into a big deal, because it's obvious that it's so obviously a pre-existing issue. o Light sensor error (rear) o Software update failure o Brake vibration • Appointment was scheduled for 4/27. Volvo Marin has had the car for 2 weeks and has failed to agree to solve the problem o They claim the brake vibration must have been caused by us o They cannot produce CPO inspections that rule out that it was missed o Their only line of argument is that the porter who delivered the car “didn’t notice it” so therefore it can’t have been them. Again, it doesn’t happen during normal driving because of the regenerative braking. Also, a warped rotor does not happen that quickly. This was certainly pre-existing. It's just ridiculous to claim otherwise.

  Bought my dream car here. 2023 BMW M550i xdrive. Tex and Angela were great. No pressure and went beyond making this deal happen. Noticed that the whole dealership shares the philosophy of making the buyer comfortable while providing great service.

  Jared Smith was our sales professional and we chose the Volvo he was selling because he sent a video and he was so animated, we were thinking, "how do we not buy from Jared?" When so many sales pros are asleep at the wheel (thus, not pros!) Jared stood out. He actually loves his work and we wanted to buy FROM HIM! So we did. Thank you Jared!
