  Oil change was do easy! I pulled in, the friendly gentlemen asked a couple questions, then they went right to it. I don't think it took more than 15 minutes! They answered all my questions and even gave me a service checklist, so I can stay on top of my car's needs. Thanks, Valvoline in San Rafael, CA! Sunshine

  The staff is consistently courteous and cheerful. I like the teamwork and camaraderie -- it seems the employees enjoy working there. The service is good and very convenient. Extra services are suggested but not pushed.

  They were extremely professional and didn’t try to upsell me. Everyone introduced themselves and were friendly and kind. I would absolutely recommend taking your car to the San Rafael Valvoline!

  Today I had a great experience here. (I apologize if I got any names wrong) Jonathan, Yonnie, Nathan, Cullas, and one other person who was great but whose name I didn’t get were all very kind and helpful. I am still fairly new to being a vehicle owner and having a license but I know that some places I have been told me I needed things that I didn’t actually need done before, where as at this Valvaline today they told me things to keep an eye on that were good but that didn’t need work on or replacement yet. In general I felt they were being upfront and honest to me and that’s something that I really value. On top of all that they were working away hard in the heat and they deserve some appreciation for all that they do. So thank you all 🙏 I wish you nothing but the best!

  I had a great experience at the Valvoline in San Rafael. I came in for an oil change and was helped by Nathan, the assistant manager, along with Red, and they both went above and beyond from start to finish. Nathan was extremely informative, taking the time to clearly explain everything about the service and what my car needed without making me feel pressured. He walked me through different service options and made helpful recommendations based on my vehicle, which I really appreciated. Red was also very helpful and attentive throughout the process. Together, they made a great team working efficiently while still making sure everything was done right. They did a very thorough check of the car, making sure everything was in good condition. Their attention to detail and professionalism really stood out. On top of that, they were both genuinely kind and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s not often you come across service like this during a routine oil change. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location! especially if Nathan and Red are there!
