  Very disappointing experience with Enterprise! I reserved a car through my Enterprise account and called the local office beforehand to confirm that my husband could pick it up. I was specifically told that I needed to be present so he could be added as an additional driver. We therefore went to the office together, both showed our driver’s licenses, and used our joint credit card. Despite the reservation being made through my account, the employee who checked us in apparently put the rental under my husband’s name. He doesn’t even have an Enterprise account, so I received no rental-history credit or points for the reservation. I contacted customer service to have what appears to be a simple clerical error corrected. Instead of helping, customer service was argumentative and told me to contact the local office because the rental was completed. The local office then told me to contact customer service for the exact same reason. Being sent back and forth because Enterprise is unwilling to take responsibility is incredibly frustrating. Mistakes happen, but good customer service means fixing them. Unfortunately, Enterprise failed on that front. I expected much better from a company I trusted enough to reserve through my account.
